Suggestions for Wedding reception at local bar or restaurant in Louisville

My fiance and I are eloping at the end of October and want to have a reception for our friends and family in Louisville when we return. We have a very minimal budget (around $1,000) and would like to have a casual celebration at a local bar or restaurant. Any ideas?

    I"m not from the Lousville area.  This is the KY board, and Louisville brides stop by, but there is a Kentucky-Louisville board that might offer a few more answers for you.

    Check out River Bend Winery...went to a wedding there a while back and it was lovely! Not sure the price but it was a small wedding reception and a beautiful location.

    Buca di Beppo is awesome with groups like this and it would be fabulous to do your party there.  Plus the food is amazing!  YUM!

    Do you have a restaurant or bar that you love?  Most places will work with you if you've got a big enough group.
