Alternative Men's attire

I am looking for some opinions about something the FI and I talked about for the Groom and his stead of wonderful gentlemen.

I am going to be getting married outside in a gazebo and do not want them to wear tuxedo's, the FI agrees. I LOVE the idea of an outfit consisting of the following;

Navy sport coat
white button up
yellow/blue tie - our colors - all matching
and khaki pants

What do you think? Is it too casual.
I should add, my dress is somewhat low key, very pretty but nothing super flashy.

    I think that sounds really nice.

    I would suggest that you don't push everyone to buy all those things new though. Lots of guys already have khakis and white dress shirts, some might even have a navy coat. You just don't want to make things any more expensive or difficult, especially on such a simple, classic outfit. And the guys will probably thank you for it.

    This is the case with most of the guys he has chosen. They have most everything we have talked about. I think 2 of the 6 don't have sport coats but I am not asking them to buy any particular one... their main expense other than the sport coat is the tie we pick!!

    We're having a casual, western wedding.  Our guys are wearing dark jeans, light pink shirts and brown ties.
