To question your holiday..

haha.. Thanks Ladies!! It's my favorite hobby!! I paid $70 for the desk and the bed and they were in pretty good shape, but just really plain. I got into a fight with a guy at a thrift store the other day because he wanted $50 for an end table that looked like shiit. I told him it would take at least $50 to fix it up to look decent, and probably more than that for it to look good. He gave it to me for $15.

1. What was the best food you ate for the holiday?
I ate a ton of everything, but you know what is awesomely delicious? The spicy chili doritos and sour cream. Sooo Good!

2. Did you get "thank you"s for the hubbs being in the service (which... I appreciate.. but it's really irelevant for this holiday.. hah) ?
Nope, I was hanging out with a bunch of military all weekend though
3. What was the best/worst 4th of July you have ever had?
Umm.. I went to my cousins for a party and then went and saw Soul Aslyum play a free concert. There was also the year I went to visit my sister and we hung out on the beach and saw fireworks. This one could have been a lot worse. I ended up b*tching out a guy who was messing around with fireworks.

4. Do you feel a little more patriotic than when you were younger, being related to a service member and all...?
Not really that I have noticed

5. How do you feel about fireworkds? hate them? set off a bunch?
I love them, but I won't light them. Growing up they are illegal in NY. We always had them, but my dad was in charge.

6. Best drink you had this weekend?
It was called apple pie. You make it with everclear, super good, but super super strong. I was talking to my FI and he told me to 'watch myself". It made me laugh because he has never ever ever said that to me no matter what I was doing, where I was, or what I drink. this was the first time.

7. Did all your plans work out? A lot of people build up the holiday to have things not be as awesome as expected..
I had a lot of fun overall, just two incidents, the one with the guy with the fireworks, and another one where a guy was just being a giant diick and apparently expected that I would just make him a drink because he ordered me to. Um, no? Not my house, not my liquor, make your own damn drink.

8. What are you doing today? Back to work? Lounging around the house?
I went back to work today
9. What has been your most favorite holiday moment with FI/H?
This past Christmas morning was actually really sweet.

10. What do you have to look forward to this week?
Um, the weekend. That's about it. But I am excited for a lot of things overall
