Ladies, where did u purchase your under garments for your dress. When you go to the bridal store they have you put on a long line bra which is what I want. Did you buy yours from the bridal boutique and a differnt linguire store?

I bought my long line bra from nordstrom. It wasn't too bulky which is how I feel most of them are.

I'm have a bigger chest, so I love the support the boning provides. It's not too bulky and it really slims me down.

I hated it. It's super bulky and didn't really offer any support. Thumbs down.

I would say so. I wear at 34 or 36 D (depending on if I'm a chunkasaurus or not) and my LL is a 34 D.

My 34 B's feel totally sad and inadequate reading this post :P

Of course, I will count my blessings and offer advice to the OP in the form of suggesting that you have cups sewn into the dress during alternations. The girls were locked and loaded all night long, I was super-comfortable, and the little bit of padding in the cups did wonders for my lovely lady lumps.

I'm a 34DD, but the LL bra I bought did not work with my dress. I ended up going braless, which I never though was possible.
I honestly thought I was going to fall out of my dress when we dipped during our first dance, but no problems.
It was so freeing. I could never do that again though.

lol, well I am a 34B so the LL is more for the tummy support. The LL gives me the perfect hour glass figure. Maybe I will try on my dress without it and see if I look as good. Thanks for you help ladies.

FWIW, I wore Spanx pulled up over the long line bra - my dress was very fitted so it helped smoothe everything out. It seems like a lot but it really wasn't that bad.

I bought mine form David's bridal and it is very similar (if not the same) as Amer's second link. It's cut very low in the back...I just needed a little push up for my tiny girls...

Frederick of Hollywood (I went to the one in KOP mall) has long line bra that give a lot of support around the tummy/waist area. It was a bit too "structured" for me but might work for you so go and try it.

Macys (the one at Sprinfield mall) also has long line bras (I saw them on Saturday) ... much cheaper than the ones from David's but the quality is the same.
