Where are you going for the honeymoon?

Hi May Brides,
Where is everyone going for their honeymoon? I think we want to go somewhere tropical and all inclusive just haven't decided on a place yet.

We're going on a cruise. Both my FI and I would have loved an all-inclusive resort, but it just wasn't in our budget.

We're going on a cruise too. On Carnival leaving from San Juan, Puerto Rico and going to Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas. I love cruises and FI has never been anywhere outside the DC Metro Area..lol. His one big wish was to see clear blue caribbean water. So that's my gift to him. He's gonna have so much fun.! We were gonna do all-inclusive but I think it's more fun to see different islands in a week than to stay in one spot. Seeing the different cultures and enjoying the different activities is awesome.

We have a choice between Hawaii with cruise around islands or Italy with a cruise. I cannot wait for the honeymoon!!!

Greece! Specifically Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini. It will be the first time FI wool be out of the country, I am excited for him to experience another country.

We have ours pretty much decided on. We're going to fly to San Francisco, spend a couple days there, then drive to Sonoma and spend a few days there, then drive up to Portand and fly home.

Wow a lot of cruises! We had settled on St. Lucia but I was lurking on the Honeymoon board and became obsessed with Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Now I'm trying to convince FI!

We actually just got engaged in Playa del carman last month absolutely wonderful. Best beach I've seen awesome blue water!!!

We are planning a 10-12 day trip to Italy. A few days in Venice, then on to Rome, with 2 0r 3 day trips from there (Naples, Florence, etc.). I can't wait!!!

@shano06 - Thats the EXACT cruise we were looking at lol! We were planning on going May 12th the day right after and maybe stay 2 days afterwards to explore PR a little before coming home.

We would like to do an all inclusive but I dont think its in our budget and I think FI would get bored after a couple days and require too many excursions to entertain him. At least with a cruise we wake up somewhere different everyday

<div>NO WAY! I've been to the area many times and I hate Cancun! It's trashy, touristy, and only fun if you're 20 years old on spring break! Go south to somewhere like Playa del Carmen for a more relaxing, non-touristy experience. I'd also look into Akumal, which is about an hour south of Cancun. It is literally my favorite place on earth.</div>
