I haven't updated my Ceremony & Reception Venues Map in a while, and since things are kind of quiet now might be a good time to add to it. Answer as many of these as you can/want to.
- Where are you getting married?
- Where is the reception?
- How many guests are you inviting?
- What's the maximum seating that each venue will allow?
- How much is the rental for each venue?
- Does your reception have an exclusive caterer or a small group of "preferred" caterers? If so what's the average per/person cost counting everything?
- Do your venues have vendor lock-in with anyone else? (florists, photographers, etc).
- f you're getting married at a church, does the church have space for a reception, even if you're not using it? Do they allow alcohol? Beer & wine only or liquor too?

1st year anniversary in Victoria with a killer whale topiary!
Re: Venues so far
Only important thing to note is that this is in a residential community so all parking is street. They do have strict noise limitations on amplified music to not bother the neighbors, not allowed to hang around outside (other than smoking) but no games on the lawn, etc.

About 3000 for both ceremony and reception, includes chairs, tables, linens, flatware, servingware, dishware etc... from 6-11PM (or the afternoon time slot of 11-4). You're allowed 2 hours to set up prior to the event.
Peak summer food and beverage minimums are fairly high.

Exclusive catering to the hotel. The minimum per/person cost of catering in the summer is about 75-120/person.
Do your venues have vendor lock-in with anyone else? (florists, photographers, etc).
They have a preferred vendor list, but you can explore outside of that list as long as you get it certified by the venue.
Golden Gardens, Seattle
Golden Gardens Bathhouse
About 100
Outdoor ceremony could hold any amount, reception in bathhouse says up to 200, but that must be for standing room only. I was told a reception w/ 140 was really tight.
$200 to reserve park for ceremony. $2100 total for bathhouse w/ all permits, etc.
*edit: plus a $500 refundable deposit.
They have a preferred list, but you can use anyone.
No.

Don't hate me. $17/pp for a buffet with 2 entrees and that included drinks. Overall, including beer and wine we spent about $4600 on our entire venue/catering and approximately 8k on the whole thing.

I'm a little late getting in on this but:
Where are you getting married? Novelty Hill/Januik Winery in WoodinvilleWhere is the reception? SameHow many guests are you inviting? We only had 21 guestsWhat's the maximum seating that each venue will allow? For what we did the room limit was 24, but I think if you rent the whole winery it is 125 or 150How much is the rental for each venue? For the room we rented during the day (while winery was open) it was $500, but if we had done an evening and rented the full winery I think it was $5000 for the facility. That said, we had our ceremony in the barrel room, cocktail hour on the deck & lunch in the cellar room (the actual room we rented). Does your reception have an exclusive caterer or a small group of "preferred" caterers? If so what's the average per/person cost counting everything? Onsite catering only, which was fine because the food was fab.! I think all food & wine came to about $125/person. Cake okay from anywhere.Do your venues have vendor lock-in with anyone else? (florists, photographers, etc). Nope, but we did use the florist they use for their tasting room/event flower needs. (Fena Flowers - they were great to work with, especially given the budget we had set aside for flowers).f you're getting married at a church, does the church have space for a reception, even if you're not using it? N/A Do they allow alcohol? Beer & wine only or liquor too? All the wine came from the winery (of course) and we could bring in beer & champagne of our choice w/banquet permit.
