Need: something borrowed.....

Any ideas? I'm at a total loss for ideas!!

TIA!!

Re: Need: something borrowed.....

  • someone said once that she was going to borrow $ from her Dad before she walked down the aisle and give it back to him after the ceremony. Like a $5 or a $20. I thought that was a good idea.

Mine, my BM suggested I borrow her diamond tennis braclett this weekend so I'm going to do that instead but I was going to borrow a paper bill from my Dad because i was at a loss too.

  • My mother had a brooch that belonged to my grandmother.  I had it put on my bouquet, and I'll be giving it back to her right after  the wedding.

  • I personally like the idea of a broach or an heirloom of some sort.  I think you will remember what you borrowed on your wedding  day for the rest of your life, do you really want it to be a $5?
  • is there a peice of jewlry that you don't have that you could borrow from someone? How about a hair flower, veil or something of that sort?  Those are the only things I can really think of that you could borrow....

  • i like the idea of $5....its something silly, and i havent heard of that til now, so it makes it different too.
what im going to do (my sister did the same) is im going to borrow my grandmother's rosary to hold with my bouquet. its a special touch for me since she passed a few years ago, and i wanted something of hers to hold.
  • I am thinking of borrowing my bff's veil but idk if I want to wear one, my mom done NOT want me to wear one!
  • I'm borrowing my sister's locket with my dad's picture in it so he'll be walking down the aisle with me in spirit while my brother is holding me up and making sure I don't trip hee hee.
  • I have no idea what I will wear. I'm thinking something to put in my bouquet, or something of the sort.

I'm doing the $5!!  It's something that will make my dad smile, and my family jokes around a lot, and my dad smiling is the memory I want, but it's silly and not sentimental which is what the something borrowed normally is, but we're a little outside the box...

  • Maybe a veil borrowed from a friend or a sister?  I was going to do this, but the veil didn't match my dress very well.

  • I didn't do a borrowed, but I like the idea of a borrowed brooch to put in the bouquet.
