Haha, well it wasn't stated QUITE so eloquently.

We weren't really discussing the merits of what they say though, more if they should have the constitutional right to say it at funerals. So while we were all in agreement on how idiotic they are, that wasn't the focus primarily.

Well if they didn't Chels, I'd be a little concerned, haha. I'm excited because people gave me some really good ideas of where to go with my paper (my final draft is due in a week) and what to focus more on.

Well they agree with my argument that there can be laws that are both constitutional and outlaw funeral protests, but they suggested I focus the reasoning behind this more on the individual being targeted rather than the sacredness of a funeral setting (which is more what i wrote about right now).

My Golden does that too, ugh, it is the worst at this time of year when he has been eating turkey. Note to self, no turkey for the really cute, sweet golden, it just is not worth it!

Halloooo everyone on E.

Just jumping in, and I'm sure no one will understand this (or most won't), but I'm super excited, so I have to share: just got done grooming a dog for a client of mine who is going to a show tomorrow. The owner is primarily a field/hunt test guy, and is trying to get me involved in that aspect (I'm just too dang busy). He brought the dog in with a "Christmas present" for me, and I opened it up to find a new lanyard with duck call, whistle, and a metal band on it. Turns out, the metal band is the dog's "Started Retriever" band, which he earned with his first hunt test title... he'll only ever get one, and his owner wanted me to have it.

Might seem silly (especially to those of you who aren't involved in dog competitions), but I was seriously almost in tears... it's such a meaningful piece to his owner and breeder, but they chose for me to have it. So thoughtful!

... now I'm going to read the rest of the thread as I wait to get ready for work.
