    His son coming forward is actually old news.  He came forward before and wasn't deemed credible.

    I know people who know his family and I myself know one of the prosecution witnesses (not a victim), so it hits entirely too close to home for me.

    MK, I have no idea what makes it have trouble scrolling. I'll probably mess with it tomorrow. BTW, over on SB, someone said she confuses the two of us all the time. I did not feel insulted. 

    Disclaimer: I am not changing my sig because I'm caving to pressure. I'll mess with it (and try to keep the same pic) because it's apparently causing problems with the actual board.

    Christ. FI just went to the drug store with his aunt and I somehow got volunteered to stay here and babysit his nana by myself and now she's crying. I have no idea why or what to do. I feel awkward, I'm not good with crying people unless it's FI.

    Random question.... I have to write a paper analyzing film with the legal field as a focus for my class I have this weekend (not due until after of course). I want to do something different because I know the prof has seen the same few issues (hero vs. evil lawyer, race representation, gender representation) a million times. So I thought about analyzing how several movies portray gay lawyers. Can anyone think of any movies that have gay lawyers in it? The only one I'm coming up with is Philadelphia.

ETA, TK hit post too soon. She just started talking to me about all the people in her life who have died, especially her husband who passed around Christmas. I feel terrible but I'm so awkward in these types of situations. I can barely deal with my mom crying without wanting to run for the hills.

    I wasn't aware Philadelphia had a gay lawyer. I know the client is gay, but I haven't seen it in a while.

    Yeah I'm struggling because I can think of a million TV shows (Will&Grace, Queer as Folk, Modern Family), but not any films.

    Yeah I've been googling it too, Edie. Haha I KNOW there has to be some out there. I mean it doesn't have to be the focus of the plot. Just that the lawyer is gay so I can analyze how they portray them.
