Do you have a theme?nope, not really. We had our wedding at a Victorian house so we tried to keep it flowing with the same style.
What are your cake flavors?Our cake was a combo of vanilla sour cream cake with chocolate filling, chocolate pound cake with white chocolate filling, and our top layer was a mixture of both cakes.
What color are your shoes?Champagne/gold
How much are you DIYing?I did absolutely no DIY. My MIL DIYed my card box and that was about it.
Where are you going for your honeymoon?We went to Maui. DH actually had a dream about it yesterday and I tried to convince him that we should go back soon! *fingers crossed*
We went to Southlake Tahoe....we plan to go somewhere tropical for our One year anniv.

we have a movie theme. Our ceremony music is all from movies. Escort cards are movie tickets and table names are movies.

not a lot. We did some print stuff ourselves. Our big project is we made a movie that we are showing at the reception. It's a documentary short about our life.
My fiance has planned it as a surprise. He is going to announce it at the reception!

Initially FI wanted to go to NYC for New Years and see the ball drop. Since I got the wedding I thought he should pick a location for the honeymoon, but deep down I've always wanted to go a Tropical and he knew that so to get more for our buck we are considering going to the Bahamas.
Nothing is set in stone but I think the Bahamas is a HUGE posivitely now

We are not leaving on the honeymoon right away. It will be delayed. I am not nervous. We have talked about a lot of locations. We want to go everywhere!
The one rule he had was, we could not go to Hawaii! We have already been there.
He didn't really surprise me with the proposal, so he wanted to do this for me. I think it is fun. And, it is one less thing I have to plan!

I think of it more of a palette: Lavender, Purple, Ivory, Gold and Dark Red. I ended up having to add in silver since the embroidery on my dress is silver.
Reception has an enchanted forest theme.

Our new house. We were going to go to Europe, but we decided between going some place nice for a few weeks versus living some place nice for many years. Europe can wait until we rebuild our savings.
Deep sea/peacock blue (not teal, not navy...somewhere in between?), with ivory, light pink, chocolate brown accents.
Not really a theme, but we are incorporating elements of science/chemistry, since my fiance is a chemist and the wedding is at the Athenaeum at Caltech. Our centerpieces will use chemsitry glassware (flasks, beakers, etc) as the vases, and we'll use different elements of the periodic table as table names.
Chocolate with raspberry and ganache, vanilla with strawberries and cream cheese, chocolate with mocha mousse. I can't wait!

Not much...guest book, STD's, that's about it. Oh, I glued the invitations to paper backing? That doesn't really count.
Maui for 8 nights! We just booked this week, I am so excited!

As of right now we have our hopes set for Cancun... but if it continues to be "not tourist safe" we'l l probably end up somewhere in hawaii!

I sadly might only get 3 days off after our wedding. I won't know until May so for now our idea is to go to napa. Hopefully I get more days so we can go somewhere

BUT, we arte definitely planning it for our 1 Year Anniversary!!

Since coming up with that idea, I have actually seen several blogs and photo shoots incorporating glassware as vases....so I guess my idea wasn't THAT original. :P But I still think it will be cool (and new to everyone at the wedding).
