  It's from David's Bridal? Have you tried calling various stores to see if stores have them in their own stock?  Her size isn't available online but you never know if they have it on the rack somewhere... just a thought

  
  

  A friend of mine had to do that last year in the same situation... She ended up finding one on the opposite coast...

  OR online they have a size 16 available... maybe buy that one and have it altered a decent amount... not the ideal situaiton but at least its the same dress and for 20 bucks..

  Well I told her to do that too, thing is my other maids got theirs last week because I knew the sizes were going to fluctuate. (SP) I told her they have a 16 and she said but alterations are expensive. Oh goodness. I also told her call the store and see if they have it at another store. I just feel frustrated.

  Even though she'd have to have it altered, it would probably still end up cheaper or the same price as what the dress was originally.

  
  

  I found David's Bridal prices to be fairly decent for alterations - granted, I haven't gotten my dress back yet, but for a bustle and to take in the bust cost $80.  I was expecting a lot more.
