Does anyone know any good venues in either the NYC metro, Hudson Valley, or White Plains/Westchester area? We are doing a 1920's speakeasy/vintage hollywood theme and I'm having a hard time finding a reception location with that intimate, speakeasy feel. I don't know Hudson Valley or White Plains at all. We live in NYC and are thinking we want to get out of the city to get married, but I'm open to ideas.
Any suggestions?
Re: Help! Reception Venues in NYC/Hudson Valley
Also check out the Montauk Club in Brooklyn. here's a link for a wedding there on 100layercake http://100layercake.com/blog/?s=montauk+club .
[QUOTE]Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz might work. Or maybe Bobby Van's Grill on Wall Street. (They turned an old bank vault into a restaurant.)

The Bobby Van's on Wall Street looks so cool. But isn't Wall Street scary and dead at night?
