My grandparents used to have a condo on the water in Destin. I never got to go down there but my mom always took amazing pictures when she went with them.

Yeah, there were a lot of fucked up things that were done to people. That prison one definitely fascinated me.

I think that my elementary school performed a bizarre social experiment on us until they stopped it when I was in 5th grade. I was taught blind discrimination and segregation and completely hated people for no reason at all. It made me able to understand how some people can grow up (at least through adolescence) with hate for things/people out of nothing but what they know around them.

Okay, I am not reading fucking 25 pages of this, so right now, my guilty pleasure is Vampire Diaries, and I hate myself for loving it, but I can't stop watching.

Also, I got a raise today, and I'm pretty excited about that.

WWoHP is really the only reason I wanted to go to Orlando. My master plan was to convince H to go to WWoHP, meet mica, and then take me on a cruise. It's better that we saved our money for all of my ridiculous school expenses though.

Congrats on the raise!

It was announced today that we are getting raises at work, possibly retroed to Jan 1, and bonuses on our first July paycheck.

It didn't improve my morale any. LOL Helped my cell mates at work, and I'm sure when I actually get my money, whatever it may be, I'll be happy, but right now I'm so burnt out I want to lay down and quit.

Nicki -- Bradenton is about an hour away, I think. But I travel! I drove an hour to meet KyKate, and it was very worth the drive.

Yeah, that is odd. Zoya chipped for me almost immediately, but I only change Opi colors because my nails need to be trimmed and there's unpainted parts at the bottom when they grow. I'm talking about toes only...I keep my fingernails short and nothing stays on there for more than a day anyway.

I always have polish on my toenails. I have polish on my fingernails for about a month at a time (changed weekly or so), and then none for about a month, so my nails can recover.
