Morning everyone! How much snow did you get? We have about 6 inches out here. The roads in PA (ours at least...) are pretty shoddy, however in Maryland? You'd never know it snowed. I already took FI to work this morning, and helped shovel the driveway. I kinda wish my boss would call me and tell me not to go in, but I'm sure that won't happen in the next half hour. (I'll be leaving 45 minutes early to get 10 minutes away)

morning. I'm waiting to hear if I have to go to work or not. I work in East Falls and park on the street, so I'm hoping I'm not.

I am sitting here debating on trying soon to go to work. I am not sure their development is plowed yet. So that means I have to get through my unplowed LONG driveway and go 4 miles on backroads to their house.... this could get ugly. I am asking him now if his street is plowed.

4.5 inches in Bel Air Md. The road in my apt complex was a mess... but the main roads were good, then the roads on post sucked. But I knew that's how it would be!

I'm not looking forward to the wind starting. We get drifting here like no other. They've actually taken to closing down three of the main roads here because of it. You know, the three that I need to get home. Lovely. Thankfully, I got here early, so I'll be out earlier. Maybe I'll be able to take one of the three roads home so I don't have to go a half hour out of my way to get home.

476 and 76 were really clean/clear. Just wet. My b!tch male coworker stayed home while the rest of us came in. I hope he gets fired.

Anyways, H and I did the rediculous work out last night and I really liked it! It was much more fluid and athletic than regular weight lifting, but still very challenging. I have a feeling I may get obsessed. My shins started huring (again) after running, so I'm taking today off. How's a girl supposed to get skinny when her body doesn't want to cooperate? Naproxen and ice for me today.

Paprika - haha is rt 10 one of the roads closed? I remember hearing last year cars got stuck and 4 wheelers had to come get them... and leave the cars there.

Hil - haha half my branch isn't here yet and it's an hour and a half past start time. What work out are you guys doing? I got Jillian Michael's Shred it with Weights I might try tonight since I want to get home before it re-freezes.

The roads weren't bad at all for me today. I got to work earlier than normal today. I just take 202 and 76 to the city. I was expecting more snow.

896, 796, Old Baltimore Pike and 10. The only way I have to get home is to drive all the way from the hospital out to rt 1, up to west grove or down to nottingham, and take state road. (I'm sure it'll be drifted all over anyway.)

I still do not know if I am working or not. He was supposed to touch base with me this morning, but I haven't heard anything yet. I cleaned off my car and DH and I shoveled, but it depends on what their streets look like. UGH. I don't know if S's circus class has been canceled or not. The School District nearby is closed, but it doesn't say on their website or answering machine nor does it indicate their weather policies. If that is cancelled I know I won't be working it is the only reason I am working today.

Haha you forgot because it's a given rt 10 will be CLOSED. State road will be AWFUL - Good luck! Haha you know where the Chrome Dairy was? I was the was that took out that sign in '09. You know, the sign that had it's own roof?! That's where I totalled the cobolt and got the Jeep!

Good morning. I got up late and had to clean off a large SUV, and I still go to work on time and before anyone else in the admin offices. I love when most people have off work and 476/76 are clear. DH stayed home today, I'm jealous, but the roads were fine so he really should have gone in.

Im 1 of 2 in my office today just like the last time it snowed. Its me and the big boss again. Love snow days, its so quiet in the office. The roads were totally fine too.

Paprika - haha that was me... I JUST got my oil changed, roads in Oxford were FINE... went to go to walmart in North East. Went down that hill, couldn't stop or turn and took it out. Since it was cemented into the ground it torn the underneath of my car. sounds like we both need some driving lessons. I drive like a granny now...

Cara I agree. I think most people thought the roads were bad so they didn't drive/come into work.

My FI is the only one in his whole office. I guess everyone else is "working from home". My boss is out today so it will be a nice easy day for me.

DH got the no school at at 5:30 this morning. I wanted to slip him an elbow to the nose and act like I did it in my sleep.

I took the bus in because I can't move my car or I will have no place to park it when I return!

Im working from home today....they still havent plowed out our apartment complex roads/lots so that in itself makes it hard to get to work haha

DH's work made them all stay in a hotel next to work last night to make sure they would all be in work this morning. :-P

I got up 40mins later, dragged @ss getting ready and cleaning the car, then zoomed in because the roads were clear with few cars. Got into the office 45mins later than ususal and was still the first one here. Sigh.

I brought work home last night, and since we didn't have any meetings my boss let me work from here. I was in DH's office, but his chair is way uncomfortable, so now I'm working from bed.

If it's any consolation, I did have to get up at 5:45 to help my mom clear the driveway so my dad could leave for work. I hate living at my parents' house! DH stayed at work last night (he manages a hotel) so he wouldn't have to worry about shoveling/transportation issues.
