Job Poll

Re: Job Poll

• I do Human Resources for a telecommunications company...and I was very happy doing that for a couple hours a day and hanging out on TK the rest of my day until some idiot in our corporate office decided to do an internal SOX compliance audit...Now I only get to hang out on TK a couple of hours, off and on, and actually have to work most of the day!!!
Someday, when I grow up, I want my boss's job...she's been on vacation every other week for the past 8 weeks and came back this week to go to a "Meeting" (read: drunkfest)...but really, I want to be a SAHM...really need FI to find a job!
This has been a fun read, and thanks for letting me vent :)

[QUOTE]I'm a financial technician for the U.S. District Court. It started as an internship, and I have applied with another "certain" federal agency. I hope to hear back from them soon! I was a criminal justice major with a minor in Spanish. I met my FI in our serial killers class. He's a cop now and working on his Master's Degree in Homeland Security. Salt, I love the mortician joke!

That sounds like a really fascinating class. Scary, but definitely interesting. I just finished a paper on psychopathy for my human development class. I think I realized that I know a few (psychopaths, not serial killers).
• Currently I work as an office assistant for my mom (who has her own business as a counselor). I was going to school to be a teacher, but now I changed my mind and want to go for nutrition. I have a degree in political science, but don't know what I can do with that :-p

• I'm a CPA. I hate it. If anyone wants my license, let me know. We can just white out my name. I would like $4500 for the money I spent taking the exam 8 times and the cost of my study materials.
• I am a stay at home FI. It's an awesome job. Extremely part time I do bookkeeping.
