ready to elope, in 2 months.  Just got the engagement ring today.  Is this too soon and how should I ask to have April 3, 2013 as the set date?

    Ask who? As far as it being too soon, that's a case by case kind of thing.

    If it feels right to you and your fiance, that's all that matters. Not sure what you mean by asking if April 3 is okay, though.
