    LOL  I don't know who's to post in since these were made at the same time! :)

    My company is doing "the 12 days of appreciation" (like the 12 days of Christmas)...and the 24th is listed as a "surprise".  I won't be at work that day because I took the day off.  I'm really curious as to what it is...though, honestly, I am much happier just having the day off.  But I swear if it's something really good (like Society Bakery cupcakes), I'll be pissed.

    Today is my birthday, and it's the first time I've ever not been with FI, family, or friends. So, this morning I will be getting as little work done as possible and then this afternoon I will do whatever I feel like. I might go shopping, I might take a nap. But I will be going to the gym because my sister is coming to visit this weekend and I'm sure we will be indulging in both food and drink!

    Happy Birthday, Banana!

    I would like to talk to the officiating crew at the Big 12 Championship game and ask them why they let the touchdown stand.  Multiple angles showed that the only thing that crossed the plane was Colt McCoy's helmet.  Helmet is not equal to a football. 

    A family showed up for a disciplinary hearing at 8:45 AM that was to begin at 9:00 AM.  They were still sitting there when I came back to my room around 9:20 AM.  I walked past that AP's office and he was watching a video with the cheerleading sponsor and the basketball coach.  I can't believe how disrespectful our administrators can be of parents' time (anyone's time really but especially theirs).

    I cannot understand what makes a person think they can reach into someone's bag and just take something that does not belong to them.  Like it's nothing at all.  I want to know what happens to a person in their life that causes them to act like this and have no conscience about it.

    I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet and I have no idea what I'm getting anyone. FI is a Christmas baby so thats another gift I have to worry about, he really wants a new guitar but its not in the budget. Frown 
    I'm looking forward to my week off but, it looks like I'll be spending my time at the mall along with all the other crazy last minute shoppers..fun, fun!!

    Aaron and I talked briefly this morning about TTC towards the end of next year. We got kind of giggly about it. It's kind of surreal to know that that part of my life is close by.

    I have been married 4 days and I have already been asked at least 5 times when we are going to TTC.  I mean I have baby fever and all, but 4 days?? geez!

    We started getting asked about that before the wedding since we're both in our mid 30s.  It wasn't too many people but we still got asked.

    I'm glad for once Aaron didn't laugh as though the idea was preposterous. He has a tendency to react that way whenever I bring up babies. He has no biological clock.

    About the TTC... FI joked the other night that he feels old because our friends that are our age are "having legitimate children"

    SA: I have a zero tolerence policy for idiots today. Oh and the girl at work I despise (Makes our generation look unprofessional and dumb) got called out for not doing her job on mass emails multiple times yesterday!

    I have one friend on Facebook that always makes her status updates in the 3rd person.  I think she does it because she thinks she'll sound smarter than everyone.  Here's her post:

    Mrs. I'm Better Than You     put up Christmas lights outside last night! She may not have as many as the neighbors, but hers glow like candlelight and are clearly more understated and classy. Now she just needs a small battery powered strand for the mantle...

    *blushes* I somtimes do my status in 3rd person, because it makes more sense to me..
    Jessica wants her hubby to bring her icecream, rather than Jessica wants my hubby to bring me icecream.
    It depends on my mood.

    I hate how slow the new format is and I don't like it on my work comp at all.   At 12:45 I can move to another computer and it works better. :)

    Has one final down and four to go, then graduation next Saturday.  I cannot wait!!

    I have 5 weeks before my cruise, so I really need to get in shape...and quick.

    Jess, I think your example is fine because you don't keep going after one sentence.  This one person is notorious for having 4 or 5 sentences for her status updates, and it just sounds weird to me if she keeps going on for that long in the 3rd person.  I think if the update is short and sweet, then it sounds fine in the 3rd person. 

    Besides, deep down inside I really don't like the girl in the first place, so that could be part of my irritation with it.  Smile  I knew her in high school and her name was Katie back then.  Then she graduated, got married and all of a sudden her name is now Kate.  Really?!

    Everytime I log on to the boards, at the top I keep reading hor d'evors(sp) and to me it reads: Wh0re de vores. It makes me giggle.

    Julie, I have given up on the Big 12 refs. They have to be the worst in the nation. I'm actually surprised when calls are correctly made.

    o.m.g. My boss asked me to go to lunch over an hour ago...but he keeps taking calls, so we haven't left yet! I'm soooo freaking hungry. My stomache is eating itself. Stop taking calls man!

    That is when we are talking about TTC! I feel the same way you do and a little scared about the change that comes with having a baby. Still excited though :)!

    It is my coworkers birthday today so we get cake and I am thinking of you as I eat it Tongue out


    I am slightly...I don't know..something...that David's mom got him the same thing I did. It is kind of out of the blue and I don't see how she could have thought of it on her own...but it makes me feel better he opens my gift first haha.

    I really don't want to go down/over there for Christmas but it's better than spending the night or weekend so I only have to feel awkward for a day rather than 2 1/2 haha.

    I feel bad not getitng my family that is doing secret santa individual gifts as well as the SS gift. I really want to but can not afford it.

    I got my wedding band on Sunday! and I bought david a ring that was absolutely perfect for him even though I already bought him one so now he has two. AND our mattress is being delivered Friday! I am *so* excited!

    I miss my knotties :(

    I wish TK would work on my phone! But all I can see is the knot tv box and it won't collapse or anything so I can't see the rest of the page because it only scrolls in that window. sucks!! especially because I literally don't have anything to do. I have an hours worth of filing left. But I am not going to ask for anything to do because once things pick up again there is no way I could do more than what I was doing!

    Happy Birthday Bananna!  I hope Tennesse treats you well today.

    I got a ton of things on my to-do list done today.  I got my crochet hook for my dress but I couldn't go to Sally's because apparently they moved locations.

    I feel the same way Apple about the presents.  I'll be PO'd if it's the same because there's a certain one that I've had for awhile but then I don't really have to worry because she's not happy with us so he said he'll be surprised if he gets anything.

    I've been working on forms at work...for the wrong semester.  At least it wasn't all of them.

    I almost finished my first Build Your Own Grand Slam by myself last night.  I had majority of the eggs, a slice and a half of bacon and some pancakes left.

    When we were meeting with our DJ last night, we were sitting next to an 8 year old girl and about an hour into our meeting the girl asked the DJ, "Are they getting married?"  "Yes they are." The girls eyes got HUGE.  "And guess when they are getting married?"  The DJ told her and her eyes got even bigger.  "You mean they get presents AND a wedding?"  I told her FI's birthday is around that time too.  "Y'all get presents twice AND a wedding!"  If her eyes weren't connected to her somehow they would have fallen out.  And then she talked to us about her I Pod, I think.  All I remember was that it was hot pink.

    Today has been a crazy day and very busy. I think I done enough for the day. And I have another meeting at 4 - 6pm! It sucks. Meetings today all day. For the past week. WTH!!?!?!?!?!?!?

    On a side note - Happy birthday bannana!!!!

    Another - I for some reason thought today was the 2nd. And we so need to have the g2g this Friday! But where? I need suggestions...because welll....I have a brain fart! And this is all I want to do right now. Yell

    Steph - I go back and forth on the third person status updates...  I almost always use third person for the first sentence because it puts your name there as if it's the subject of the sentence (and often is).  After the first sentence, I naturally fall into first person, but then I'm torn because I'm very particular about grammar and think I should be consistent, even if it is just facebook.

    DH and I have talked briefly about TTC, and while he's ready to start now, I want to wait until we've been married for at least a year. We both want to be young parents, so we'll see what happens.

    My MIL asked for Christmas lists a couple days ago via email. In the middle of my Christmas list I added "Unisex Baby Clothes." She flipped. When we told her the truth(that we're NOT pregnant), she said we have crushed her hopes and dreams. lol

    Same here, lovey and Julie- We aren't getting married until June and people are already asking about baby timelines.  (I guess the kicker is I really do have one... but presumptuous, much?)

    Every day this week when I've gotten up I've SWORN it was Thursday.  Tomorrow I'll probably be convinced it's Friday.

    Oh, I miss the Knot!!  The new format just doesn't work for me at work.... I can see the ads but it never loads the content. :(

    I say we all up and move over to Weddingbee or Project Wedding or somewhere that is more user friendly!! Agh.
