We were married on June 12, 2010!
2. What are/were your colors?
Our colors were hot pink and tangerine with yellow and white accents.
3. Did/Does your wedding have any specific theme?
Gerbera daisies were sort of our theme.
4. Why are you having or why did you have an outdoor wedding?
My husband always envisioned being married outdoors, so we were!
5. What aspects of your wedding are being held outdoors?
We only held our ceremony outside.
6. What's your biggest worry for your wedding day, other than weather?
Besides weather, my biggest worry was our cake. We had a major cake disaster on wedding day, which you can read all about in my blog!

2. What are/were your colors? The primary color was red. We also used chocolate brown and orange.
3. Did/Does your wedding have any specific theme? Just fall-ish.
4. Why are you having or why did you have an outdoor wedding? It seemed silly to have a traditional church wedding when neither of us are even the slightest bit religious. Getting married in a park seemed like a great alternative that we both were excited about.
5. What aspects of your wedding are being held outdoors? Just the ceremony.
6. What's your biggest worry for your wedding day, other than weather? I was worried that my FIL would be late and hung over after celebrating his 50th birthday with out of town relatives the night before. Thankfully DH's aunt kept an eye on the situation the night before and didn't let the alcohol flow too quickly.
2. What are/were your colors? no specific color scheme really, but our invites were dark purple and forest green so that color scheme is popping up in a few places.
3. Did/Does your wedding have any specific theme? it's a DW in my hometown of Santa Barbara, CA so i guess it's beach meets wine country meets eco-friendly
4. Why are you having or why did you have an outdoor wedding? bc "it never rains in Souther California"
5. What aspects of your wedding are being held outdoors? the ceremony and since it's a DW, there are lots of get togethers at the beach and various parks

4. Why are you having or why did you have an outdoor wedding? Jewish people don't have any prerogatives to get married in a shul and I always wanted an outdoor ceremony. It is just so pretty outside.
5. What aspects of your wedding are being held outdoors? Ceremony and cocktail hour only. But the reception site has large windows so you feel like you are almost outside.
6. What's your biggest worry for your wedding day, other than weather? Spilling something on my dress. That's the kind of girl I am.

4. Why are you having or why did you have an outdoor wedding? We come from different religious backgrounds and the churches around here charge an arm and a leg.
5. What aspects of your wedding are being held outdoors? Just the ceremony-the reception is being held in a loft space.
6. What's your biggest worry for your wedding day, other than weather? I am just worried about impressing my in-laws. I want them to think FI and I planned a beautiful wedding and that we are perfect together!

4. Why are you having or why did you have an outdoor wedding? I always wanted an outdoor ceremony. FI is catholic but is divorced and when he gets an annullment we will have a ceremony in the church as well.
5. What aspects of your wedding are being held outdoors? Just the ceremony and cocktail hour. Everything else is held in a ballroom.

4. Why are you having or why did you have an outdoor wedding? We are having it at my parents' house (was built in 1830 and is gorgeous). My sister was married there 8 years ago and it was amazing and I can't picture getting married anywhere else. It's a lot of work though (we just replaced the porch floor and are working on the columns).
5. What aspects of your wedding are being held outdoors? All of it: ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, party.

4. Why are you having or why did you have an outdoor wedding? I have always wanted to get married on a beach. We considered a destination wedding, but comprimised on a local (sort of) beach.

2. What are/were your colors? Our main colors are wine and orange, with touches of white and chocolate
3. Did/Does your wedding have any specific theme? 'Falling in love' lol how corny, but the whole wedding is very fall themed
4. Why are you having or why did you have an outdoor wedding? Neither of us are religious at all so we didn't want to get married in a church, and I've always imagined myself having an outdoor wedding. The location we found is up in the mountains with a gorgeous view, so how could we not have it outside?
5. What aspects of your wedding are being held outdoors? The ceremony is being held outdoors and then some of the reception is. The food, cake, head table, and dancing will be indoors, but the bar and a few guests tables will be outside. There are large french doors and windows that we plan to have open the whole time so no one will feel left out.
6. What's your biggest worry for your wedding day, other than weather? That people will get lost on their way to the venue and delay the wedding. There is not a typical street address since it is in a state park, so I was only able to give people the address to the entrance to the park and from there, they have to follow a map we created. Let's hope for the best!

Yes, based on our colors. We did a Native Amrican-type wedding with a blanket ceremony. Blue is the color of the north, white the south (H is from the north and I'm from the south). Also, in traditional NA ceremonies the B&G would exchange blue blankets and the cheif would present them with a white one to symboioze unity.
4. Why are you having or why did you have an outdoor wedding?
H and I both love being outside. H is actually a fisheries biologist and landscaper, and his passion is working to preserve the natural world.
5. What aspects of your wedding are being held outdoors?
All of them, ceremony and reception both.
6. What's your biggest worry for your wedding day, other than weather?
Not having enough food (we ended up having more than enough), friends getting wasted and acting like idiots (they were surprisingly well behaved), forgetting something important (H forgot his cufflinks, but we made do with zip-ties).

3. Did/Does your wedding have any specific theme? Nope - hopefully just fun!
4. Why are you having or why did you have an outdoor wedding? I always wanted to get married at my family's cottage - unfortunately my Grandpa sold it, so we are compromising and having the reception in my Uncle's huge backyard. He offered 3 years ago when the cottage sold, so we took him up on it.
5. What aspects of your wedding are being held outdoors? The reception and I guess the cocktail hour will be in a large tent on a 4 acre property. I am so excited about the tent lighting it's ridiculous - clear globe string lights all over with about 80 purple, blue and white chinese lanterns.
6. What's your biggest worry for your wedding day, other than weather? The reception is out in the country while the ceremony is in the city at our church - it's about a 20 minute trip. I'm worried about people getting lost in transit and also about people driving country roads on the way home. Most of my family is local so I'm not worried about them - it's mine and FIs friends from university - we're looking into arranging a bus.

I have always wanted an outside wedding and we found a perfect place among pine trees and its just goregous!

The ceremony is going to be held outside and the reception is going to be located in the same location but there is a huge pole barn we're using but it has four huge doors that open to the outside..with tables and bar out there!

I really haven't thought about that. I just hope that everyone can come and has a good time!

4. Why are you having or why did you have an outdoor wedding? I've always wanted an outdoor wedding just because I love being outside and I love the photos that come with that. FH is an outdoorsy person and his parents have a great backyard so we chose to do it there.

Hmm other than weather, I would say just everything turning out the way I envision it and also hoping that the ceremony music works out and that people enjoy themselves. We hired a band and I am unsure of how and when to get that started so I think the "flow" is what is stressing me most. Also staying on budget lol
