Typical holiday....busy busy busy. I'm excited to relax a bit this weekend. For the first time in a few weekends I have some spare time. We have nothing on Friday, a neighborhood Christmas party on Sat night, and my cousin's daughter's 2nd birthday on Sunday. And I only have one more part of a Christmas gift to get and I'll be done!

II'm trying to help my mom convince my dad that they need to get another dog! The vet that we took our last dog to contacted my mom today, they are looking for a home for this adorable little guy

My neghbors are driving me up the wall. He came up and asked if we had our water running. I didn't know FI had started the washing machine, so I said no. He got an attidue with me and accused of us ruining his clothes. I am so ready to move out of here! Grr

<div>Our washer is in our closet which is right over his. When the washer did what ever and leaked in his, he said we could ruin all his clothes. FI told him that its not like its our fault and we all rent, so if its an issue take it up w/the office. He is a jerk, we have had so many issues with him since he moved in a few months ago.</div>

One of my coworkers was killed in a car accident on Saturday morning so it has been a rough week for our team. He was an amazing person and he was one of the younger members so it hit hard. It's been busy because of the holiday (shipping the week before a holiday always is) and with having to be short staffed because of people being out and just not having the energy to work. Upper management has been very supportive of our team with closing down orders and letting us hold orders over to the next day. We are also very fortunate to work for the company we do. HR provided us with a van to and from the funeral today. People that used to work on our team and have moved to other positions in other departments came and worked our department today so that our team could go to the funeral. It just shows that people really are good.

I am doing nothing tonight. I have been working so much lately and am so overwhelmed that I just wanted to watch TV and look on the computer.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow night Fi is off work and hasn't had a day off in 10 days. Then he won't have another day off until Christmas Day. We haven't even been talking that much lately because we are both so busy at work. I miss him.

Melissa, I'm so sorry to hear that. I can't imagine how hard it must be trying to work with that on everyone's minds. I'm glad your company is so supportive.

FI had curling tonight so I've been home alone since about 6:30. I started out doing a mountain of dishes that I had, then that turned into cleaning in general. FI should be home soon and he'll have a nice clean apartment

I'm getting annoyed at our parent company, because the sale of our previous parent company went through on the 1st, my boss put in a job position for me soon after, and our new parent company still hasn't given them an approval. I need at least a concrete offer before FI and I put an offer in on a house (which we'd like to do on Monday or Tuesday). I'm going to ask my boss again tomorrow. I feel so bad bugging him about it, but I know that I need to do that in order for him to keep bugging his superiors about it.

Fi did get an unofficial pre-aprroval by e-mail today, saying that we're pre-approved for $20k less than we applied for, providing his parents can give proof of being able to put $20k towards the down payment (we only have $1k in our new account so it doesn't look like we can pay the down payment, which we can. But, FI's parents were going to help out with it anyways).

I'm sorry for your loss Melissa.

I just finished studying for my first final tomorrow with a friend. Now I'm taking a break before I study for my next one. I'm so annoyed. I went to get FI's down comforter that we use as a blanket. My older male cat jumped up on me, squated and peed on the blanket! I rinsed it off right away and hope the smell doesn't stay. Thank god FI wasn't here. Our cat is old and he's starting to show it more. I'm worried about him

I'm crossing my fingers that I'll hear something tomorrow or Friday. I'm getting a little annoyed, because right now I'm just working part time at co-op pay (well, ok, the part time thing is kind of nice), but I know that it's the parent company I should be annoyed at, not my boss or the CEO.

And curling is fun, there's a club in our city. There is actually a club in NH, in Hollis, called the Granite Curling Club. Not sure where you are, though. It's a very complicated sport, haha. I actually went to Junior Nationals last year in Minnesota, which was cool (literally and figuratively... Northern MN is cold in January!!).
