Kimm, my mom used to have me watch all those old Christmas movies with her. It's the only reason I know I like them.

amdesant - Congrats on the job and getting your dress. I'm not sure why it is, but the clay-mations scare me. I never watched them when I was younger either. Everyone talks about how great they are and I have never seen more than a few minutes.

amdesant- I really like Rudolph, too. I like all of the holiday movies meant for kids. But I can see why you think they're creepy, PetalPockets. I think if they weren't such a big part of my childhood, I might think they're creepy, too.

Thanks Petal! Feel a sense of relief :-) I can understand the claymations being scary as a child, sometimes I am not going to lie that even now they are a little creepy! Especially the abomidable snowman! You definitely can't go wrong with any of the others mentioned on this thread either, they are classics. I watched a movie on ABC on Sunday- Have a little Faith- its adapted from the book by Mitch Album and I think that will be a new christmas movie for me!

Kate- I looked at the picture again and lauighing haha. He does look deranged!!

We put a little piece of tape under our kitty's foot the other day. It was funny watching her try to get it off. Then I felt bad so I rescued her. This was after she kept laying on my wrapping paper and playing with it while I was trying to wrap.

i love miracle on 34th street! and i have never seen its a wonderful life eiither < whoever posted that /> shh dont tell anyone! whenever i say that people are like seriously? and they dont believe me! i was fully intending to watch christmas movies and fold laundry tonight then i laid down in bed for a minute with the dog next thing i knew it was 1.5 hours later and here i am just waking up with baskets of clean laundry next to my bed last load just went in the dryer!i guess i will have to fold it all tomorow night cause no way i am starting now... i have work at 5:30 am tomorrow! lets hope i can actually fall asleep now and that nap didnt ruin my nights sleep!

I am watching a wonderful life too.

I had an annoying day at work today. I was training a new nurse to the floor and she had an attitude all day (due to being overtired) and actually had the nerve to tell me to shut up because I was explaining something too fast. SMH.

PetalPockets- I am going to have to try the tape thing with our cat haha, I bet he freaks out like yours hehe. They always try to be so helpful don't they while you are doing things like folding clothes, making the bed, and even doing the dishes!

Steveandta- I am sorry you had an annoying day, training someone can be tough and make for a long day for sure. Someday that nurse will appreciate it and part of me would say have something ready for them if they tell you to shut up again!! Thats not really acceptable to me no matter what the circumstances are! I am being trained right now and I wouldn't dare tell the person taking time out of their schedule to shut up!

I must weird or wired wrong, because I like the Christmas season, but I don't like Christmas movies.

Today has been such a long day. My FI went to his dad's house to do our laundry, while I stayed home and cleaned house. Also, my FI mom sent us a couple of packages and our cat was loving them, so I cut holes big enough for him to get through and taped them together creating a little tunnel for him. He's been in it all day and only sticks out a paw when someone walks past it.

My favorite Christmas movie is The Year Without a Santa Claus! Though, honestly I love pretty much every Christmas movie I've ever seen!

I haven't really had any WR checks lately, other than talking with a DJ earlier this week. He sounded nice but I think I want to meet with him face-to-face before the wedding and meet the DJ that will actually be doing our wedding.

I have been trying to get my Christmas shopping done this week/weekend. I actually just placed an order for some things for FI, FMIL and a couple others on my list! I can't wait to get those gifts in and get them wrapped!

I don't like training new people or students, as bad as that is. I have enough to do, and I hate watching over someone making sure they're giving meds right etc. Plus it's weird when you try to chart and they have nothing to do.

Kimm- can you write on the STD's or are they glossy? If you can write on them, you could put your hotel info on a TK wedding website and write the address on the STD's. It would be a lot of writing but it would save you money.

I LOVE Christmas movies. Its a Wonderful Life is a really good movie and a classic. I also really like the old Miracle on 34th Street (the one with Natalie Wood). As much a I love these old classics it does bring on a slight problem. I get very weepy. Cry my eyes out. Its pathetic.

Petal- I hope your "niece" gets out of the NICU soon and can go home.

Brittany- enjoy your vacation! I would probably spend at least half of it being lazy either in front of the TV watching movies or at the computer.
