FI's stupid wedding ideas!

Re: FI's stupid wedding ideas!

  • That wouldn't have worked for me, Nebb. My professors used to compare font sizes to make sure everyone wrote their paper in size 12 font. We all know professors don't actually read the papers, though, so adding a ton of reallys and verys worked perfectly.

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Because trust me when I tell you honey, they're gonna need it. ~jcaruncho2010

  • To bad for her she didn't get us to sign a consent form. She is missing the space taking value of indented bulky quote over three sentences in length that have nothing to do with the original point. Then, she can have foot notes and quote people twice so she can throw "ibid" around like she knows what she is doing.

Oh wait, those are the papers I graded in grad school.
  • I wonder if she separated out the contractions as well. Turning one word into 2 always helps. "The mean girls on The Knot do not like me."

  • 500 words is not an essay. 500 words are nothing more than a couple paragraphs, and any professor who accepts that as a "research paper" is a joke. And seeing as how you didn't use any names or any quotes, that only confirms that you're a liar, and a poor one at that. A research paper without valid information, such as quotes or author names, is just a rant on how you suck at lying on the Internet.

Oh, and put away the pity card. At this point, no one gives a damn about your made-up woes.

[QUOTE] Sorry my computer froze and it sent before I wanted it to...anywho....It was just a 500 word essay on my experience with cyber bullying. So it took like what..an hour to type up? It also has NOTHING to do with ethics..morals maybe because I lied about a few things. If I used anyones name or quoted ANYTHING I would have asked and even showed you my paper before I sent it in. Since I didnt..it's nobody;s business. Yes my professor did take time out of his holiday weekend to read it. He lost his wife a few months back and his teaching has consumed him. He does nothing but his classwork. He also knows that there are a lot of things going on in my life right now so he knew it was going to be hard for me. Before I hear any snide remarks my grandfather is dying. He was like my dad growing up. He is in ICU. I cant go see him because I work at a daycare and am exposed to germs 9 hours a day. I cant take the chance of getting him sick. My son was finally diagnosed with hearing loss. Even with a hearing aide his world will never be the same. So yes perhaps some of my responses were a tad rude. Not only was I trying to get a rise out of people...I actually have crap in my life that are killing me right now. And ya know whats funny I do supervise my children. This happened when my daughter was at her fathers house. I have to let he go there, its court ordered I have no choice. Here they dont even use the internet without me sitting right next to them. So I am done responding and explaining myself. I am SOOOO done with the knot. I have a life I need to deal with. Again Im sorry for deceiving anyone.

FWIW - if your son was actually diagnosed with hearing loss and got a hearing aid, his life will be BETTER for it. He's obviously had hearing issues - the diagnosis wasn't a death sentence, it was a chance to improve his life. You should be happy that they figured out what was wrong, and you can now help him live his life to it's fullest capacity.

I do think it's ironic that you admit to having shiit going on in your life, so YOU decide to come here and "get a rise" out of people to make yourself feel better, when that is, in fact, what you're accusing all of us as doing.

Step away from the computer, compose yourself, and maybe make a new screenname if you decide to come back. Because no one here will ever take you seriously after this stunt you pulled.

Maybe I just skimmed through her tragedy post, but does it seem like she keeps adding things? I don't remember reading the part about her son the first time around. Again, I usually skim long pieces of crap, so it's entirely possible that I missed it the first time.

ETA - Never mind. It's in betrothed's quote as well. I just didn't see it.

Great advice. I'm totally turned off to the OP now. Plenty of people gave great advice and shared personal stories. To come back with all the insults was over the top to me.

Next she's going to claim her sister/roommate/dog wrote all this under her name. At least, that's what 13 year olds on other forums tend to do.
And if you should die before me, ask if you can take a friend. Pick a flower, close your eyes, and drift away- STP

My personal favorite are the details about the professor's private life. That actually made me LOL.
