Wedding Woes

Oh Good Grief!!

We are currently getting ready to demo 3 homes, and the city comes in and says, "wait a minute!".

At least one of the homes was built in the 1950s, and so the historical society has to make sure that they're OKAY to demo.

Do you consider 50 years HISTORICAL?

It depends on how fabulous the house is.   If it's a mid-century modern beauty maybe it should be saved.   But if it's a rat infested peice of crap...

I'm sure some neighborhood old people just got pissed it was going to be torn down and contacted the city or historical society. Stupid old people and their excess of free time. :P

No that's not historical.  I'd welcome some homes being torn down.  There are 3 in the neighborhood that have at empty for years.  I can't imagine what they look like.

I think  Europeans would laugh at us for calling a 50 year old home historical.

Yeah, but we laugh at them for thinking 100 miles is 'far'
