We used "Beautiful Day" by U2 for the wedding party and bride and groom.  Groom's parents got "Sirius" by the Alan Parsons Project (it was/is the University of Nebraska's tunnel song) and my parents got the Standells' "Dirty Water."

We're going to use 2 songs... 1/2 of the bridal party will use the song from Night at the Roxbury "What is Love?"
Then the other half will use the song from Madagascar- "I Like to Move It" -- both very fun and gets the crowd going!

We used the Ghostbusters theme song for the WP, and we came in to the Throne Room March from the end of Star Wars. We're big dorks and love John Williams music! :)

My advice is make it fun! Start the party with high energy!

I think we are going to use that "Let it Rock" song-- I forget the artist, but it's the one that goes "When I arrive, I - I bring the fire"... FI's choice.

We are ridiculously huge Sox fans so we used that as our theme for entrances! The parents all walked in to "Sweet Caroline" and the bridal party in to "Shipping Up to Boston" and we walked in to "Dirty Water". It definitely got everyone clapping, singing and dancing right away!

We are big rock fans so the Bridal party I have not decided on one yet but ours, we are doing AC/DC Spoiling for Fight only the beginning due to the words , "here comes trouble" which his buddies will get a kick out of.

For my daughter's wedding, she used, "Shipping up to Boston" for my husband and I, "Empire State" for the grooms parents as they are from New York, for bridal party the
Who's "Teenage Wasteland" and for them The Beetles "All you need is Love"  It was a lot of fun!

I just went to a wedding where they played Shipping Up to Boston for the briday party and it was perfect. If got the whole room into it. My FI and I were so jealous we couldn't steal the idea and use it because the groom is in our wedding party.
We decided to use Highway to the Danger Zone from Top Gun for our bridal party entrance. Our wedding has a movie theme and that song is just fun. We haven't decided on what we will walk into yet.

We're using Metallica "For Whom the bell tolls".  The start of the song has a long instrumental part, and we'll have the DJ loop it if necessary.
