I bought my wedding dress rather early, and I love it...or so I thought. One of the girls at work told me that the dress is awful on me last week and now I am experiencing the first second thoughts I have had since purchasing it. I know it shouldn't matter so much what one person thinks as long as I love it, but I want to know if I am going to look ridiculous and just dont realize it. I do have time to reselect if I have to. Please excuse how awful the pics are- I had just worked a double and hadn't had a haircut in months

Also I didn't know the first pic was being taken but these are the only two pics I have...

If the pic is huge at first, this is my first PIP...I will fix it

I think it looks great on you. Do you have a close-up picture of the beading at the top? It looks really pretty.
And your coworker is super rude and lame for telling you anything negative about how you look in your wedding dress.

Unfortunately, I don't have a close up of the beading but it goes around to the back and down a bit which I love. Thanks ladies you are making me feel better already!

I don't know what's wrong with your coworker, but you look great in the dress. You should absolutely not be having second thoughts. I can't imagine why someone would say something like that to you about your wedding dress, but I used to work with a girl who told me my butt was bit on a weekly basis, so I kind of get it.

haha you girls crack me up...maybe a bit of a bitter old hag, yes. But she has great fashion sense, I will admit, so that's what threw me off. Sorry if I seemed like an AW, but you all do make me feel much better. I couldn't tell if my family was just being ncie to me. They would never tell me I looked bad in something if I liked it, so I was looking for some honest opinions.

I think the dress is beautiful. Don't second guess yourself. Your gut told you that this was "the dress" stick with it. Don't let your co-worker rain on your parade. Maybe she is a little jealous of you and the attention that comes along with getting married. Brush it off. It is a great dress!

LOVE that dress and it looks beautiful on you. Actually, I was deciding between that dress and another one. I ended up getting the other one, but it was a tough decision! I really loved the draping on the dress, the fabric is so soft and has a gorgeous shine! And the beading is the perfect touch, just enough sparkle! I *LOVE* it and and I definitely think your coworker was just being a jerk. Ignore her!!

Agreed, she's jealous or trying to hurt you to make herself feel better. I also got that dress! I had a few changes made to it since it's the closest to what I was envisioning. It's a pretty fun dress and all the reviews are great on the website. Wear it with pride and know that co-worker is selfish & sabotaging.

I haven't read the responses yet, but I have two things to say:

1. WHO TF tells a bride her wedding dress looks terrible? And she's a co-worker, not even a good friend (who might be expected to offer such brutal honesty in an attempt to keep you from looking like a fool)? Screw her.

2. That dress looks amazing on you. Again, screw her.
