DJ help

I am trying to make my final decision on a DJ and was wondering if anyone has seen or used Mark Rankin from DJ Chicago?  Any input will be appreciated.

i went to a coworkers wedding where he was the DJ, and while the DJ/dancefloor was in the other room, he proceeded to start the first dance while everyone was still eating their meal in the other room. We didn't see our friends do their first dance nor did her parents or anyone else. maybe there was a schedule to stick to but that seemed like a big flop to not have the sense to wait until everyone was eating. from what i heard, the couple was the only ones in the room with the DJ when this dance happened and everyone missed it.

Well I am was just about to post some reviews on my meetings with vendors but since we are on the subject.....I met with windy city mix this past saturday and they have been amazing!  We definetly booked him for our wedding and am very excited now!!!  I loved the phone and in person presentation.  Although i have not seen the finished product yet, he does seem to have extensive knowledge of how the process of a traditional wedding takes place.  Also his wide range of music and years of experience was very impressive.  Check them out at http://www.windycitymix.com and their number is
    773-633-5884  Good luck!

Oh yes, girl, most definetly you need a dj who knows what is going on, especially someone who has the sense to know when to do things or at least coordinate the process.  My sister and a dear friend hired Windy City Mix and I am using them as well.  I can see uicgirl already recommended them to you but just wanted to put my two cents in too....lol  They were great!  Fell in love with the light show and most definetly worth at least talking to if not checking out what they have to offer!

    Best of luck,
