Fun processional song ideas

I'm looking for something fun and upbeat, preferably something everyone will know, or at least recognize. I was thinking something from The Beatles, Monkees, Beach Boys, etc

Any ideas?

"God Only Knows" by The Beach Boys! I also second "All You Need is Love" by The Beatles. Both are great songs!

I am considering "I'm A Believer" by The Monkees to enter the reception. I came here to ask about that. ;)

There's always "What a Wonderful World".

Thanks for all the ideas! I did a little research and listened to some songs and I've decided to use "Good Day Sunshine" by The Beatles :)

Now to decide on that stupid father/daughter dance, ugh

I am not looking forward to that part of our wedding, either. I want to keep it so that my FH can dance with his daughter. But my father passed away many years ago.

There are a few really cute country songs that are about father's singing about their daughters. Trace Adkins has a few, so does Darius Rucker: http://youtu.be/y5zCaRaJ-kE

    As always, best of luck!

I'm thinking of doing away with it completely. My fiance's mother is in ill health and wont be able to dance with him for the Mother/Son so I think I'll just make our dance (me with my son) more of a special request kind of song and have no Parent/Child dance. Hopefully this will eliminate any hurt feelings for anyone.

My prayers go out to your future mother in law. All things being equal, not having it is probably a wise decision. Besides, its Your wedding, not the ettiguette Police'. So, if you don't want one, don't have one.

    Heather.
