Does anybody know if you can put silk flowers in water with the floating candle on top or does it have to be real flowers? I really lke the look of this kind of centerpiece, but who has time to add real flowers right before. I guess I could aks a friend. Thank you for any advice.

I've heard of people using silk flowers before and they said it worked out fine. I have also heard some people say that they had problems with the dye bleeding in the water on silk flowers so you might want to test it out before buying a bunch.

i'm using silk orchids and i tested them and they worked out great...

Like others have suggested you can use the silk flowers and that might even be eaiser because you can have them made up before hand. I would make sure to do a test run to ensure the colors don't bleed. Also, make sure that they stay at the bottom, unless of course you want them at the top.
