Cleaning some of the upstairs flooring mess. Mr B is almost done with the quarter-round and then we can start putting furniture back in place.

I'm moping and whining to the dog about life.
I just got my dental estimate for work that needs to be done (NOT including the root canal I'm getting on Wed) and I'm looking at $2500 to fix 3 little cavities and put a crown on a tooth a prior dentist screwed up. Insurance won't cover any of it because I'm tapping it out on the root canal.
I think I'll live with the cavities...

Not a damn thing.

We spent the morning w/J's mom taking her car into the shop, then playing in DC playing with the Cherry Blossoms and in the Air & Space museum. Then we all went shopping back in the burbs. We left at 630 and got home around 530/6. It was a long day.

Tonight we are just relaxing and getting ready for tomorrow's Red Sox vs Nationals Expo game back in the city. Whoot!

I'm at my parents'. N and my brother went to pick them up at the airport - they are coming home from Australia today. I am looking forward to eating the chocolate they got for me. Mmm!

I might, but I think his prices are fair, I just have horrible dental insurance. They only cover 2 cleanings a year and $1500 in dental work. Ironically when Dh starts at PetSmart again he'll have much better insurance so yeah...

BYOB for dinner tonight - yum. Got my wine all ready to go. And as a bonus, FILs forgot to cancel their membership at the winery, so I got 2 extra bottles when I went to go pick mine up today.

I really want to open one now.

He's doing the heavy stuff. I'm swiffering, dusting, and putting books back in the book case and ltitle things like that. He's actually been very good - he won't let me do too much. I feel bad for him though since it's his vacation too and he's done so much hard work putting in the floors.

If I can keep them down for 6 months I'll have the insurance to deal with them again, so hoping for that.

How were the cherry blossoms? We have a cherry blossom tree outside our apt and I am loving it right now.

Katie, we went really early this morning. We left DC around noon, right as the masses started piling in. It was great. J got lots of great shots, which will be up on FB at some point. Very pretty

We're making homemade pizza and catching up on Tivo. Allergies have kicked my ass and my throat is coated with sludge that's making me feel sick to my stomach. Gross.

Im not up to anything anymore, I WAS going to finish priming the kitchen but I cant for the life of me get the container open (twist top) so I have to wait for my husband to get home to open it for me. I will just drink beer instead. I just finished a delicious bbq pork dinner, so i am happy enough. I have vowed to only eat bbq'd food from now until september.
