I love looking at everyone's bling and now that we are pretty much all 2 months out most of us should have our bands.

Aw.. I'm on my work computer and don't have a pic. Mine are very similar to LADY's (the e-ring & the bands.) FI bought the e-ring and wedding band together. Then my mom actually bought me the same band for the other side. So, I'll have two right away. One from FI and one from my mom. (My mom asked me to make sure Paige didn't care that she was planning to buy the other ring. She thought maybe he would want to buy it down the road. When I asked FI, he was totally like um, no I don't care, why would I? He's clueless about this stuff.)

Butterfly - I wanted a halo (is that the term?) around the center stone when I originally started looking at rings! Don't get me wrong - I still love mine even though it's a simple solitaire - but I LOVE the look of the halo.

and bridetobe YES halo is the correct term!! I knew I wanted one from the start, I am super obsessed with it

sometimes I look at solitaires and feel a little jealous since my ring is so different so I know what you mean for sure even though I love my ring

I also knew I wanted a split shank - my fingers are really big so I wanted something kind of girthy (ew that is a gross word but I am not sure what other word I would use)

No, it's not, Its from Shane Co. Its a round diamond with a square setting. Kind of hard to see in the pic. Oh I love rings! I'm pretty sure I stare at mine for a good couple hours each day.

Sorry to post 2834735 times on this thread but . . . do you guys know what your fiance paid for your ring? I'm not asking you to say how much he spent. I'm just wondering if he told you.

My fiance told me a range the other day after I bought his ring (since it's obvious how much I paid right there on the website) but before that I had absolutely no idea.

I saw how much it cost when I had to take the receipt and warranty info in for my cleaning. We have to take it in minimum every 6 months for inspection and cleaning so it doesn't void the warranty. I can't believe he spent so much! I feel horrible all he wanted was a $300 cobalt ring, lol. I didn't know how many carats mine was either before I looked at the receipt. With my wedding band, it's a total of 3.15 carats. :-)

Nope I have no idea. He only told me how many carats it was. I never asked and he never told me. I love my ring and I guess that is really all that matters. I think I have an idea of the range he spent.

The only thing I know is how much my wedding bands cost and his since we bought them together and paid for all 3 with our joint savings account.

I only know because I had to send his appraisal forms to my insurance agent. He insisted that he paid a little less than the appraisal was for, but it was still shocking to see the actual appraisal number, hahaha.

I do the same thing!! I stare at it when I am driving too! I have had to stomp on my breaks numerous times b/c I was looking at my ring when traffic stopped suddenly lol.

Oh I do know the appraisal value of mine too since I got it insured too!! I think it was like a 1/3 less of what the appraisal was. Which was a lot of money too!!!

Do you know where FI bought your ring? FI got mine at R & R jewelers in the diamond district we got all of our bands from them too. They are great!!! I love west 47th street!! It just sparkles everywhere lol.
