I don't know if this blog has made the rounds over here or not cause I've been gone. but I've been reading it for the last 30 mins or so.

mmmhmmm. read her posts about courtship, and her courtship, and how her boyfriend of 1 month proposed to her. and whatever you do, DON'T watch the abortion video. if nothing else, that damn song gets stuck in your head.

I don't know how others feel, but this creeps me out.... I'm a Christian and I certainly don't live by the "6 inch rule." What are other's thoughts??

I actually like the King James Version... but just because its pretty. I don't use it as a rule book or anything.

She reminds me of the Duggars. Didn't Anna and Josh also not touch/kiss until the wedding?

Oh, that's something I hear a lot (weirdly enough). I'm a vegetarian and people will say, "But don't you think God wants us to eat animals? Its in the bible! They were put on us for us to eat." Um, no.

Yeahhhh, I lived with two girls somewhat similar to this. One of them...she and her boyfriend were not allowed (by their parents) to touch each other up until she stood up to her dad after dealing with this for 2 years. Even in college they werent 'allowed' to be alone together...except they were in college living in a house with 2 other college girls (myself being one of them) who didnt care. So they broke that rule. Her sister is doing the same thing but by choice. They can touch but they are saving their first kiss for marriage.

That's cool, the problem with the King James Version is that parts of it are blatantly wrong and have been corrected based on findings in the Dead Sea Scrolls in newer versions of the bible. A lot of hardcore Evangelicals cling to the King James Version because parts of it say what they want it to say rather than what it actually says.

from what I've read, they met online. then they waited for god to tell them to court each other. to them, courting is like a pre-engagement. a month later, they were engaged, and then like, I dunno, a few months later they were married. now she's knocked up. once they were married, that 6-inch rule went by the wayside.

I feel like it's easier for ugly people to stay virgins until marriage. less temptation.
