Our head table at the reception is going to be in the middle of the room, otherwise known as a harvest table. Some people use a tent to outline the head table in the middle, I was going to use 7-8 foot tree branches with white lights on the four corners. However, our tree branches were rented out to another bride who's having the wedding on the same day in the same location I'm very frustrated and only have 16 days.
Any suggestions what else could be used? Our theme is snowflakes, lots of winter stuff.
Thank you!!!!!!!
Re: Need suggestions: head table surroundings
I guess I have to see it, but I do not understand why you even need something like that.
We had our table (not a true head table) in the middle of the room. The only thing different with that table and the others were vases for the girls to put their flowers in. I was there for such a short time I did not see the need to do anything else to it.
I'm not a fan of head tables either because I don't like being on display where you can only talk to the person on either side of you, plus I always feel bad for the SO's of the bridal party stuck sitting awkwardly without the person they came with and had been separated from all day leading up to dinner. FI and I decided we are definitely not doing that to our BP and they have all thanked us for it and are happy about it.
