Need suggestions: head table surroundings

Our head table at the reception is going to be in the middle of the room, otherwise known as a harvest table. Some people use a tent to outline the head table in the middle, I was going to use 7-8 foot tree branches with white lights on the four corners. However, our tree branches were rented out to another bride who's having the wedding on the same day in the same location :( I'm very frustrated and only have 16 days.
Any suggestions what else could be used? Our theme is snowflakes, lots of winter stuff.

    I guess I have to see it, but I do not understand why you even need something like that. 

    We had our table (not a true head table) in the middle of the room.  The only thing different with that table and the others were vases for the girls to put their flowers in.   I was there for such a short time I did not see the need to do anything else to it.






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    heh... Um, yeah.  I think this sounds odd, and that's the nicest way I can say it.  But, I'm not really a fan of head tables as it is.  I'd rather that my BP can sit with their SO's and friends at tables with everyone else, instead of being stared at like fish in a bowl.

    we had votive trees (about 6' tall) that flanked our sweetheart table.  They looked awesome.  We had tiny spray roses hung from the trees with fishing line so they appeared to be floating.  I rented the trees from my caterer.

    Your idea with the lights sounds really pretty, but I agree with pp, is it necessary? If it's going to cause you worries and stress maybe you should just let it go.

    I'm not a fan of head tables either because I don't like being on display where you can only talk to the person on either side of you, plus I always feel bad for the SO's of the bridal party stuck sitting awkwardly without the person they came with and had been separated from all day leading up to dinner. FI and I decided we are definitely not doing that to our BP and they have all thanked us for it and are happy about it.
