Peacock feathers and coffee break roses for mine. It's a pretty hefty bouquet from what the florist said. I was worried about just using one flower but it's simple and pretty.
The MOH and BM will have smaller versions of mine.
The flower girl will have brown and coffee break rose petals.
My bouquet: white hydrangea, white roses, white mini calla lillies, and green hydrangea (I think there is another flower in there, but I can't remember what it's called.)

I'm surprised do many of you have hydrangea. When my MOH got married in July last year they told her hydrangea wouldn't do well in a bouquet in hot weather. She only put them in her centerpieces for that reason.
My boquet: Hot pink mini-calla lilies wrapped in my dress fabric, FI will have a hot pink mini-calla lily bout.
BM: White mini-calla lillies wrapped in their dress fabric. GM will have white mini-calla lily bouts.

Interesting :/ My florist is keeping our bouquets in water for as long as possible, but didn't seem too worried besides that.
My florist also never said anything about that. She actually suggested hydrangea. One of my friends got married in May last year and it was super hot and she had hydrangea in her bouquet and the BM bouquets and didn't have a problem.
All of our flowers (including centerpieces) are white. I'll have a peony bouquet and the bridesmaids will have either hydrangeas or mums. The bouts will have a single ranunculus stem.
My bouquet: fan shaped, different shades of green: succulents, seeded eucalyptus, crocodile leaves, green trick, variegated leaves...I feel like there was some other stuff in there too. Basically it's greens with a lot of different plants and textures because I'm allergic to most flowers.
My MOH bouquet is a mini version of mine, plus I think I'm going to throw in some purple mums or another purple flower because my sister's favorite color is purple.
The bouts are a mix of leaves and maybe a mini succulent. FI banned flowers from his bout.
I am having hydrangea in my bouquet (blue hydrangea & ivory roses), the bridesmaids bouquets (blue hydrageas), and my ceremony and centerpeices.
I asked my florist about the hydrangeas holding up in hot weather because I had heard the same thing... she assured me they have done LOTS of summer weddings with hydrangeas and they lasted with no problems. She said if people had bad experiences with their hydrangeas its because the florist didn't handle them correctly. She did say the bouquets would remain in a vial of water but would be covered up of course.
Here are the pictures I gave my florist for our bouquets:
Mine.. there won't be any green in my bouquet, there will be more blue hydrangea in it's place and wrapped in ivory satin ribbon or dark brown burlap (still deciding)
The bridesmaids bouquets: all blue hydrangea wrapped with fabric I am providing:

I had heard this as well, so when I realized I liked them a lot in the inspiration pictures, I specifically asked my florist about it. She told me there are two types of hydrangeas: African hydrangeas, which have more woody stems, are hardier while growing because of their stems but dry out more quickly and have a much harder time rehydrating, hence they don't do very well in bouquets and wilt quickly. Dutch hydrangeas, on the other hand, have a more typical flower stem and thus hydrate at least as well as other flowers. She will only use Dutch hydrangeas because of this, as well as the fact that African hydrangeas are more expensive anyway. (Note that I realize hydrangeas don't actually grow in Africa; I could have the wrong continent name, haha)
All bouquets will have lavender hydrangeas, lavender roses, purple lisianthus, and purple stock. I might ask her to add really deep purple carnations, as well. My bouquet will also have cascading ivy coming from it.
My bouquet is going to be all purple lilacs. MOH and bridesmaid will have bouquets of all white lilacs. FI bout is a single purple lilac bud; bestman and groomsman will have a single white lilac bud. Ring bearer will match groom's, but smaller. Feather girl will probably have a halo of purple and white lilac petals (haven't decided for sure on her). All the other bouts and corsages will be a mix of purple and white lilacs. All will be silks.
@Ash, they're orange-ish but they have a MUCH darker hue than other roses which makes them blend really well with browns and greens. I also have a hybrid brown rose but that one's sooo expensive I'm using it sparingly.
My bouquet: blue and green hydrangeas, ivory roses, ivory ranunculus
The ladies: blue and green hydrangeas
Bouts: ivory ranunculus, blue and green hydrangea spray for the groom, just blue for the guys
Like a poster above, my hydrangeas are going to have a little water vial at the bottom of the bouquet that will be wrapped in the ribbon so they can stay hydrated.
Bridesmaid's inspiration. There are going to be some changes to theirs. There won't be any of those berry looking things, instead of ranculus (sp?) they will be peonies. My daughter (junior bridesmaid) will also carry this, but as a pompander instead.
And I'm at a loss of FI's bout because a peony would be to big for that. Right now it's slated to be the orange gerber. But I don't know?! Do you all think that would look silly?
My bouquet- white roses, hydrangeas and gerber daisies.
Bridesmaids- pink roses and gerber daisies
Groomsmen- single pink rose
Groom- single white rose

I agreed at first, but for the heck of it I Googled "Peony boutonniere" and looked at the images, and they look pretty good! Click here to see them. It looks like a lot of them just take either smaller blossoms or even peony buds. But I'm sure the gerbera daisy would look nice too, and he might be happier if it's orange rather than pink!
We are going hydrangea (green) with gerbera daisies (hot pink, orange, yellow, and red/orange with yellow near the center) for the BMs. Mine will be the gerbera daisies and white callalilies. The GMs will have a gerbera daisy in one of the above colors.
The journey of one thousand miles begins with one step.
Re: Just for fun...
My BMs will have blue hydrangeas with some green cymbidium orchids in it.
BM bouquets are white hydrangea, purple carnations, and green spray roses.
Bouts are white roses.
...sounds like we all love hydrangea so far, it's my absolute "must have" for flowers!
My bouquet will have white hydrangea, white peonies, and white roses.
BM bouquets will have blush/light pink hydrangea and hot pink roses.
FI's bout will be a white rose.
GM bouts will be hot pink roses.
The MOH and BM will have smaller versions of mine.
The flower girl will have brown and coffee break rose petals.
My bouquet: white hydrangea, white roses, white mini calla lillies, and green hydrangea (I think there is another flower in there, but I can't remember what it's called.)
Bridesmaids: lavender roses

my bridesmaids are going to have just white gerbera because their dresses are pink, i thought it would off set things nicely.
