Looking for restauarants with banquet halls...

Hey all, I'm trying to find someplace to have our rehearsal dinner. FI and I really wanted to have one at a restaurant, not out in the park or at a pizza place or something. The only thing is, everywhere i'm looking either can't accomodate us, or is pretty expensive. I'm looking for something that either has a banquet hall or can accomodate about 30 people. We're hoping for someplace that doesn't cost more than $15-20 a person if possible. Do any of you have ideas?

I'm looking for the same thing!  I've been using opentable to try and find some places.  http://www.opentable.com/info/banquets.aspx?m=87

Yeah, I saw that posted on another topic and I wasn't able to find anything... every place is like 25-30 dollars a person, and we just can't rationalize that. We have 30 people attending and we can't even afford to have an actual caterer at the wedding, just deli trays and such. But we still wanted to have a nice rehearsal dinner if at all possible.

I'm having the same problem......we wanted BBQ, but Jackstack turned out to be a little pricey if you have it at their place, but we're still keeping it on the back burner.  I'm kind of lost at this point!

Have you looked at Cupini's? They have a banquet room and their price per person is I would say around $10 and I personally think the food is fantastic. We are using them for our wedding. Or, what about Lidia's? That might be a bit more though ...

What about mexican food, Manny's comes to mind, it's usually a cheaper option.

I know we looked at Figlio's on the Plaza, but I cannot remember the price per person. Also, keep in mind if you are also providing alcohol and such because it will increase the price. I know they can section off parts of the room (it's upstairs) so it might be good for your size.

It might be easier to think of what kind of food you want served, then make a list of all the options around you and narrow from there.

We are using Barley's Brewhaus in Shawnee, KS for our Rehearsal Dinner.  We will have close to 50 people.  They have their own little room off from the restaraunt and it is really nice!  They provide all the table linens, projector screens, and lots of other options.  It is so much cheaper than everything else I was looking at!

We're not exactly picky or particular about what we want served, as long as the food is good and we can actually afford it. We both love italian so that would be our first choice, but anything would be fine to be honest. MsTst I'll try looking at Cupini's, I'd never heard of them before. Neither FI or I grew up in this area, and we've both only been here a couple of years, so there's a lot of places that we don't know about.
