Whats everyone doing for the Holiday Weekend?

For us, we are taking time AWAY from wedding planning!

ASs we are getting closer, its been stressful with his family and mine.  So we are thinking of driving to a beach this weekend, taking the dogs and just relaxing!  We really need the "us" time!  My new hobby is photography, so we are hoping to take some pics with my new camera!

    Well, FI starts his internship at a church in another state on Friday, but he's driving thorugh a city about an hour from my hometown, so we're going to try to meet up and have lunch, because we haven't seen each other in over 2 weeks, and then I have to go back to our college town to take care of some roommate issues.  Both of my parents are in healthcare and are working all weekend, so us kids are on our own. Surprised

    This weekend is totally dedicated to putting together our centerpieces for the reception.  I look forward to weekends because that's when I do most of my planning.  I've found that knocking out whole things at once (invitations, bouquets, centerpieces) is very helpful and makes me feel accomplished.

    I like your idea kkidd28. I might go to the beach on Saturday. Church then chillin on Sunday. Totally chillin on Monday!!!

    We are going to take his great granmother's ring in and see what can be done to redesign it as a necklace for me (I am hoping it will work out to be my "something old" for the wedding day.). We also will see some friends who will be in town with their baby (Pray for me ladies- I need to be focused on being a wife first, then a mother! hee hee). So a mix of wedding stuff and other stuff. That's what long engagements are for! Have a blessed weekend, girls.
