It was like that here all day yesterday.

I haz happy today! A pair of my work pants that I bought from the Limited, that didn't fit starting this time last year, fit me, and are a little big!

Today we only have a high of 59 and rain tonight. Fall is definitely here.

Boo rain. It's been raining here pretty bad in the mornings or evenings. I always seem to miss it. Today is going okay in the fact that I tricked myself into waking up early, but now I don't want to get back out of bed and get dressed. Ah first world problems. My cat has been so annoying lately. I hope she chills the hell out soon. I hate when she walks on my face at four am.

Those damn cats! Maggie waits for Dan to leave for work (3:30 a.m.) as soon as she hears his truck she comes running in the bedroom, cries until I let her up, makes herself comfortable, and then kicks me while she's sleeping. She is one spoiled pup.

Not happy for me so far. Last night at 2am I woke up SHREIKING my head off, and flailing my arms everywhere like I was trying to fight someone off of me. BF said I was yelling "Is there a bug on me? Is there a bug on me??" and he was trying to pin my arms down and keep me still so I didn't accidentally punch him in the face. He said he thinks it was his "fault" because he had just rolled over and may have touched me or something - not that that usually bothers me. He said it felt like my heart was beating so fast it was about to explode. After that, I couldn't go back to sleep for 2 hours. Weird.

When it got so bad we had to pick her up on the hike and carry her a couple of miles (struggling the whole way). Hahaha! Stina, Molly is the biggest bed hog ever. I think she's half the size of Maggie. FI hates that I let her in the bed every night. Liv, what kind of puppy is fluffy? I found a brand of Greek yogurt I love while I was house sitting, but now I can't find it in stores. And the other Greek yogurt is way too bitter for me.

Happy Tuesday! I'm working from home today, well if you can call it that. I've had a migraine since Sunday that won't go away. I thought it was mostly gone yesterday afternoon, and it reared its evilness in full effect again last night:( Here's to hoping it fully goes away today. They make me foggy and I have a hard time searching for words when I'm talking. It makes end of quarter sales calls interesting.

Audrew- I think our cats share a brain! Mine has to walk across me in the wee hours of the morning and then settle into the nook he creates in my shoulder. He then whines until I thread my arm under his belly and all four paws.

rdr - that video is hilarious.

It was raining pretty hard here this morning too. I had to turn up my pants and use hair clips to keep them out of the rain. I looked stupid walking into work jumping around the puddles but I hate having soggy trousers. But I got to wear my new rain mac! And bf thought I looked cute, so it overall it was ok.

Hopefully this rain disappears soon. I don't like it being grey and miserable all day.

It is rainy & gross here too. We have the same weather warnings as Liv, with severe thunderstorms, wind advisories, and flooding. I just want to climb into bed.

I am trying to balance out getting my work done here and applying for new jobs. Applying for new jobs is winning out right now.

Stina - Where did your dining set come from? We just bought that exact set off Kijiji a few weeks ago and I'm curious as to what it's origins are (other than being manufactured in I think it was Vietnam in 2007, which the sticker on the bottom of the table told me).

Today has been good so far. We are going to bike to campus so we can check out our class rooms so I am very excited about that. Other than that nothing except more decorating.

Vegas was awesome. I'm pretty tired. We were up late a of of nights gambling and drinking. BF's sister's wedding was beautiful. We stayed at the Bellagio it was gorgeous. There was lots of drinking, good meals, and gambling. It was so much fun.

It's not raining here and it's in the upper 80's. I'm still wearing a scarf, dammit. It's soo freaking cold in my office now that the preschool has started back. I hate sharing a thermostat with one of the classrooms.

So, to me, this is awesome, and I wanted to share with you guys.

A lot of you know I share the building I work in with a preschool and some days it gets really old people walking in and out of my room/office or letting their kids run around like hooligans. Today someone walked in with their sleeping grandchild and I thought, "I get cranky too easily, let's just be nice." And I was. We ended up having a great conversation and then she asked how she could pray for me. I was really encouraged by that, even though I didn't have anything come into my mind.

I've got a bit more pep in my step today.

And I've had three really good conversations with my pastors today.

Yep, we have a tornado watch. Until 7 PM. Of course, I get to go tutor youngsters in 20 minutes until 8 PM. So I mean, we better not have a tornado while I'm with youngsters (they scream really loud, haha).

Plusalso, if the roads are flooded, I'm going to be annoyed on my way home from work, ya know?

I sucked at thintopia today, so I'm just not putting it in that thread. I made snickerdoodles. They're delicious. And I swear I didn't have time to work out (besides running after my students in lab today) - I work like all day straight on Tuesdays. So tomorrow, working out will def. happen.
