Irrational irritations

Re: Irrational irritations

  • I'm irrationally irritated when people fall asleep during movies. If you watch a movie with me (for the first time seeing it), you best be planning on staying alert and awake the entire time. I hold grudges over this and it's so irrational.

I'm irritated by company. Any company. H's friends, my friends, our family. I don't like people in my house and I can't figure out why. It's something I'm trying to get over but it's getting worse.

I get irrationally irritated when people repin the same things over and over again on pinterest, as if they have no concept of what they have already pinned. Pay attention! Even worse is when they repin it from themselves, I called my mom on this the other day and her reasoning was "I really liked it so I wanted to pin it again" - that makes NO SENSE. no sense at all.

Another irrational irritation, I get super annoyed by the people who drive down the main street where I live. We are across from a grocery store so trucks are regularly stopping and backing up into their loading dock and they need to swing out into traffic to do it. ALL DAY you will hear honking, truck beeps, revving engins, and more honking because people keep encroaching on the truck or trying to sneak by and not allowing it the space to back up. Seriously, you will be waiting for less than 2 minutes while it swings around. People need to calm the eff down cause all of the noise they are causing irritates the hell outta me.

Also? theres a guy that drives a little moped skooter around the neighborhood, it beeps. He drives by a couple times a day. This frigging beeping DRIVES ME NUTS. I want to go walk across the street and push him over. Id walk, because i wouldnt need to do much else to catch up to him. Dumbest vehicle ever.

  • I will probably have to empty beer cans and fill them with water when I first get KU because people jump on the "you're pregnant!!" bandwagon way too quickly when you're female and not drinking. My SIL used the excuse "I'm on antibiotics" and of course then people are just talking behind her back. annoying.

  • Yeah JCB.  He got an email that he wasn't going to be asked back for a second interview :( He was majorly bummed about it, so back to the drawing board.

  • Non food service related one. I was irrationally annoyed that by the time we finished our race on Saturday, monster was already packing up. WTF it's not my fault we are slow, they should have realized how many people were racing and brought enough for everyone! I don't even like monsters but I wanted my free one. There were still over 100 people behind us that didn't get one too. How rude.

[QUOTE]It would be so irresponsible for Ben and I to get pregnant now.  We should be able to fit a baby into our townhouse, but it would be quite the squeeze, and Ben needs a new job that pays better before we can start a family.  We'd be up shiit creek if I got pregnant now.  Plus I just really want a house first.  That's the next thing on our list.  It's just our goal to not be renting when we have kids.  And yeah, I've never really been one to drink in the day because I don't want to be shiitfaced before dinner, lol.  I<strong> don't really get how all of a sudden now, my non-drinking during the day = PREGLY.

According to the people I know, not drinking = you're the most boring person in the world. And people wonder why I don't like talking to them.
  • Oh and another drinking/pregnant irritation - women who won't let their men drink while they are pregnant, because since they can't drink, obviously that means their men should have no fun whatsoever.  That is bullshit.

  • All of FI's family had an opinion on our options this weekend when we started talking about children.  All of the cousins are getting to be of age and they all wanted to jam their opinions down my throat.  We aren't even married yet or remotely close to considering that since we are both seniors in college.  I want to go back for my MBA and he wants to get some teaching experience in before we settle and start a family.

    Oh yes.

That sucks JCB :( I feel so bad for Ben, too.  He really, really wants out of his old job.  And I remember how frustrating it was when I was looking for work, too.  Beh.

  • I'm irrationally irritated that my puppy wont just instantly be house trained. I know it took a bit with Tory too but it makes it more annoying when I have a dog who is perfectly trained because it makes Willows accidents more obvious. Totally irrational because every puppy does it.

  • Bay, there's a lot of drama surrounding your husband right now.  Maybe they just didn't feel like dealing with it for one weekend.  He can't really blame anyone but himself for the people he alienates at this point.
  • Dammit! I just went into the bathroom and realized that I didn't finish putting on my makeup today.  I have only some of the foundation done and zero eye makeup. I look weird.  What was I doing when I was getting ready to forget this?

  • I hate pins with pictures and then stupid Memes after them. Like that forever alone guy just with a weird face and saying "OH MY GOD" or something silly. The pin would fucking suffice okay? I don't need some ugly face on my pins.

None of them know anything about it.  They're still completely unaware anything is going on.  We haven't told them because we wanted to tell them in person and they live over two hours away, so that hasn't happened yet.

HAHA I laugh because I've totally done that.  If I do stuff in the wrong order, something will get forgotten.  When I had to wear my glasses before lasik there were a couple days where I'd forget something.  I went to work one day with only one eyebrow penciled in.

Sounds like they know and didn't want it coming out on Mother's Day.  That'd be my first thought.  You can't keep stuff like that as secret as you think.
  • Rational irritation - I'm the only person on my team who handles accounts for a specific partner. I've been doing them since I've been here, and I work with the project manager from the other company. All fine and dandy, right? Well they (my company) decided to add a step in the process where my sites go to our QC team first instead of straight to the new partner. Fine, whatever.

NO NOT FINE. Now our QC team is driving me insane telling me this isn't right, that isn't done according to our style guide, etc. No shiit, Sherlock. It's a different partner, different guidelines, and I spelled all this out for you already. They are freaking out because it's not done according to our style guide, like it's so damn hard to accept that some things are done differently.

WTF. I know what I'm doing, people. Chill out.
  • I drink so much water and I always have an empty glass - bring me water on the regular and no one gets hurt.

I'm irrationally irritated that this dress I'm currently wearing requires a strapless bra. I freaking hate strapless bras.
  • Strapless bras are the debil.

My recent weight gain is making my left b00b start to fall out of my strapless today.  I guess it's good I'm getting the weight in my rack and not my a$$ though.

Well, at least  I can be thankful that I have both eyebrows intact today ;)  Thank you for some silver lining!

  • This one is too big in the cups and the cups do some weird flare out thing that I can't figure out. It's making my dress do weird things in the boobs. Damn you, breasts.
  • When I was serving I would always carry my tray in my left hand.  My left boob was noticeably smaller for a while, lol.  That was very rationally irritating.

  • My strapless bra is comfortable for the first hour. After that it starts to slip down, get bunched up, and just generally fuuck my life up. I wish I didn't have such huge tits, I would totally go freeboob if I could.
  • I just keep coming up with new ones.

I'm irritated because I wanted to get my bridal portraits done on 5-26 when I had my hair and makeup trial.  The alterations department made my bust too small so I had to take it back in (Whole ordeal- didn't have my bra in yet so they lent me one of theirs... except it was a size too small.  UMMM don't you know that a cup size is an inch?  Maybe you should have given me that extra inch in there!).  They are keeping it until June 6th.  I want to call and ask them to move it up a week but I'm afraid they'll charge me to rush it.

You don't want to know why my right arm is more defined then my left.........

    Wait what?
  • I get super pissed off if I pay for something with cash and the cashier gives me back my change (bills) all out of order. Bills should be same side up and all facing the same way. Then I feel like I'm an asshole that's holding up the line because I NEED my money straight before it can go back into my wallet.

I also get irritated by people suggesting baby names to us. Michaels g-ma suggested about 30 names that we'd never use and I felt bad shooting down all of her ideas. SO many people are telling us what we should name our kid. Here's a thought...if you want to name something, have your own fucking kid, get a pet, or start naming your damn houseplants. Oh and I'm tired of people telling me that Rambo is not a sufficient middle name for a kid.
