So not even a few hours after I called my venue with my headcount, my wonderful FSIL and the 4 kids decide not to come to the wedding!?!!!!!  You wanna know why??????  Hmmm I would like to know that too. She is just weird and selfish and won't tell anyone why she won't go. I assume the FBIL and FSIL are having issues but really? Your not letting the kids come?  They are my FI's god children! It's such a long story with her so I wont get into it but WOW am I pissed. Lucikly I could call the venue back and take them off the list.  It's sad that the kids have to miss it :(
And the kicker is that I had to re-do the seating chart and WHITE OUT escort cards since I ran out of them . I am beyond frustrated! 11 more days..breathe!

    Oh no, sorry you have to deal with that!  Its so frustrating when people change their minds after you've already given final counts and payments!!  You're at the home stretch though - hang in there! :)

    WOW! I feel like we should exchange phone numbers and talk about our FSIL's. I am sorry that you are dealing with this. I know it is very hurtful and frustrating! (Speaking from experience) Don't know if you remember my story - where mine refused to try on BM dresses??? Then when FI called his bro they got into a huge fight. They are not attending our wedding (which is in 3 days) and their children (FI's god children) were supposed to be in the wedding party. And you are correct - its all for selfish, greedy, no good reasons. Jealousy runs deep. We are all still not talking, and don't plan on it. Sometimes, family or not, you are just better off with certain people out of your lives. Good luck!

    LOL we should talk! They sound like the same type of person.  She actually pulled her son out of our wedding party too.  He was supposed to be the ring bearer! People just blow my mind sometimes....UGH!
