Need Groomsmen gift Ideas!

Hi ladies,
I haven't been on in a while but I need your help with non-traditional ideas. The beer mugs have been overdone and my fiance wants something different. He thought of having a caricature artist draw a pic of all the guys, but it is $300 for one (we would have to go somewhere and make copies) and I'm not sure that guys would like it... I don't wanna spend all that money for something that would be stuck in a closet.
My fiance is getting so exhausted trying to come up with something he is even considering Playboy prescriptions!
what are you ladies doing, or have heard others do? Any suggestions will help.

FI is getting sunglasses for each GM. He picked individual styles for each and spent a little extra cash for a nice brand. It's so hard to think of a unique gift, I agree! GL!!

My Fiance had the idea to give cigars and all the stuff the goes with it. The cutter thing, box, etc.

I was trying to convince him to get those flip video cameras for the guys.

We did personalized flasks with built-in shot glasses for the groomsmen, and on top of that Mike got his best man a personalized 5x7 frame that said "best man" at the top and our wedding date on the bottom of the photo space.

We've discussed this, but it's so far off, who knows what we will decide?

The current plan is to get personalized flasks with a variety of the small (airplane style) bottles of liquor to go with it, and maybe putting all of this in a travel bag men use for personal care items.

A good site to look is www.personalcreations.com. We've viewed this online together and talked about things they have like personalized "Man Cave", billiard room, and bar signs. Things like "Matt's Man Cave". I ordered one for my best friend, she & her hubby ride Harleys, and it said "Smith's Harley House", or something like that. They LOVED it.

They also have sports related things like a beer bucket with the sports team logo and matching glasses. For Xmas I got my fiance a framed print with the Tigers celebrating a walk off home run, and his last name was on the jersey of the guy being congratulated at home plate. He loved it!

Look around their site for "Rec Room/Bar decor" or sports, or whatever suits your GM tastes.

We did Weber grilling tools and grill mits for the GMs and ushers. The Best Man got the above as well as an apron that was personalized.

The guys LOVED these gifts by the way. We had pictures on facebook the day after the wedding of them grilling out with the new tools.

I got them Coach wallet things -- not the true wallets, but one of those holders than can hold a couple credit cards and some cash. With my 20% off coupon, they were about $15 at the outlet store. We are planning to put gift cards in these, personalized for each guy.

We got something different for each groomsman based on their personality. One got a cigar case that came with a lighter and cutter and FI added a few cigars and lighter fluid. We gave one a pair of Tigers tickets. And the other a set of grill tools. Oh and we gave our ushers gift certificates based on their personalities - Olive Garden, PF Changs, and REI.

GM gifts are tough! We still haven't finalized our decision. I already got them beer mugs, but they're really nice ones from Pottery Barn and we had engraved "so-and-so's Tavern" on each one. I know everybody does those, but I also feel like it's something every guy can use, even if they already have one. And I'm lazy, lol.

We're also considering giving each guy a bottle of his favorite kind of alcohol, personalized with a humorous label like this:

Although I haven't figured out exactly how to do the labels yet. If it's too hard, I'll skip it.

I may also throw in those DIY cuff links, personalized with everyone's college alma mater. And if I can figure out a way to make some manly coasters, I may also do those DIY tile coasters. Possibly also with "so-and-so's Tavern" written on them to keep with the theme.

We got our groomsmen grill utensil sets that have their initials embroidered on the case. We also got them each a pair of aviator sunglasses that they are going to wear the day of the wedding in pictures as well as during their grand entrance into the reception room.

We got them personalized beer mugs, lotto tickets (ties into the casino bachelor party they had), shot glass set and a bottle of thier favorite alcohol.
