    um, that's ..... unique.

I haven't been in Pier 1 in ages. I used to walk through and want some of everything. But now I have plates and table linens and throw pillows and candles and curtains, so it's no fun when you can't really buy anything.

Although judging from this, maybe I wouldn't be lusting over the entire inventory if I went back.

Gross.  IDK WTF is going on there.  I went in a couple of weeks ago and it didn't take me long to steer myself right out.

why is that cat wearing lily pad pasties?

...and why is (she) only wearing 2? shouldn't it be more like 8 or 10?

All the ones near me closed. I assumed they'd gone bankrupt and were no more.

I PPH'd Pier One back in the day.   When I had an apartment to furnish/decorate and back when they had clothes.

Their stores are now so crowded with junk like this, that you can hardly walk through the aisles.   I hate when stores get that way.

World Market has replaced them.   I love me some World Market.

We have a Pier 1 here.  I have never been there in the 6 years I've lived here.

cali, it's $30, but it looks like it's on sale, so better hurry if you want one for your "friend."

they're called "cool cats" and it looks like there is a male version too.

did anyone else's sell clothes on occasion?
I think I don't have that flowerd 'little house' looking dress any more.  Which is probably good.
