Aloha! Just engaged! Introduction =)

Aloha all!!

I just recently became engaged (two days ago 2/12) and can't stop pinching myself! DF proposed at "our spot" on a secluded beach during sunset and aside from the birth of my son, it was the most beautifully magical moment. I will never forget how I feel right now. I feel like I'm glowing and walking on air!

A little bit about us, DF and I have been together 3 years and have a 21 month old son who is our light and absolute love.

We live here on Maui and will be having a simple intimate traditional Hawaiian ceremony on the beach on our actual anniversary 12/31/12, with the big wedding (vow renewal)/reception back on the Mainland most likely NYE 2014. We still have the major details to iron out, but that's our hope. We are in no rush though -  just loving and enjoying this time right now.

    PS: Sorry to ask here but is there a tech/test thread anywhere? I made a ticker and added badges to my signature but they're not showing up and so I need just a bit of help figuring it out! Normally, I'm pretty decent with this stuff Tongue Out

     Welcome to TK, it's usually a mess when it comes to the board and signatures. In other words, it's probably not you, but TK.  Good luck on your wedding planning.

    YA! Congrats!!! I was engaged in October and am planning a wedding in Maui for Feb 14 2013! I feel very overwhelmed living in Calgary and trying to plan so far away, but we're hoping to make a trip that way soon to start looking! As a local have any cool unique recommendations for 
    A. Beach vows, no chair set up.. 
    B. Resturant or venue beach front to hold 50ish?
