My brain is fried so I will do my best on this first part of the reviews. I've attached a few pics that may be helpful or just pretty! lol . I just returned yesterday , in need of sleep! The temp was sunny and better then I expected since this was my first time in Vegas in the winter months. I've always gone in the summer....
ALLEGIANT: B: Several of us who just came from cali used this airline. The flights were all on time and cheap... however they charge you for almost everything... but I guess thats to expected when you dont pay alot for your tickets.
MGM Grand: A+ : Truthfully I was expecting bad service due to all the events and that didnt happen at all so im happy. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite and it was very comfy and pretty. It was roomy enough that when the wedding party came over for drinks we wernt cramped etc. Despite that it was crazy hectic because of the NFR Rodeo stuff and the Manny Pacquiao fight the service was still excellent and I had no problems the whole stay.
SUGAR FACTORY: B+ We ate here for the meet and greet the night before the wedding. This was what I consider a small group ( 15) and that may be why I feel like it went well. Our parents decided they didnt want to join us "young" people. Tammy was very quick in getting back to me. The drinks were kind of prices but i do reccommend the goblet as it has 7 shots in it and is very tasty. The only reason why I didnt give them an A was because they were a bit slow on the service portion some of my g/f didnt get there drinks to well into the meal. while the other half got them right away...
BELL TRANS: A we used them for transporting guest from chapel to reception dinner. We booked them literally 4 days before the wedding with no problems and it was relatively cheap. They were on time ..no issues so far. Havent seen the charge come through our account just yet so I WILL let you know if there are problems there.
CANALETTO: B+: Now this is very hard cause i thought this place was great . It was decorated very nicely. We used the murano room/Menue 1. The only thing that I herd hands down they loved from that option was the salmon. I didnt go crazy over my food and I was hungry..so was a bit dissapointed. We dropped our favors off that morning and they did the tables very nicely. The service was great, they kept coming to make sure that the guest didnt need anything. I would reccomend this room as the bar window is connected and we didnt do a bar package so the guest were on their own! The only thing is the area where the resturant is in the venetian was kinda hard to find so it made it difficult for some of our older guest.... overall very pretty, great views.
MAGGIANOS: A+ Now this was a very pleasant suprise. I'm reviewing this only cause I didnt expect to eat here at all. One of my brides maids paid for dinner here for the whole bridal party and their spouses our last night here. We made reservations the day of and they were accomadating to the group of 12. The resturant wasnt as fancy as the Canaletto as there was a woman in gym close there. She looked cute but come on gym clothes? But the food was AMAZING. I had amazing service and i loved everything that we ordered. We did the family style . Our waiter was very knowledgeable of everything on the menu. I love to eat so this really was perfcect for me. Its located in the mall so that may have been weird for me to be walking around in a wedding dress, but I'm glade I got to eat here and would recommend it hands down.
STEVIE DANIEL SALON: A++++ This may be my favorite review as I was HIGHLY worried about this . Originally I was only going to use them for my make up because I was worried about them beng able to manage hair for an African American. I checked before hand and they said it would be no problem. Trish is who came to my room. She was great! She was only about 10 min late and she called me before and told me she was running late. I didnt mind because I was still trying to get myself situated that morning. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair and it looked IDENTICAL. I gave her no direction on the makeup besides the fact that I loved it and I wanted it to work for the evening since we had bottle service at the club that night lol. She did a great job despite the fact I gave her no indication of what I didnt want. The only change we made was my lipstick since it looked a bit to pink and I didnt wanna be looking like barbie. My make up and hair lasted all night... I highly recommend air brush make up snce it did last forever....
