Hey Hike! Sucks your H is stuck in traffic know when he might be getting back? I'm sitting on the couch bored since there's nothing on on TV right now and H is next to me on the laptop catching up with this season's HIMYM. I stayed in all due to bad weather. Cold, rainy and gloomy. Ugh.

Oh Hikey, DC traffic blowssssss. The ICC opening all the way next Tuesday is my saviour. I told my boss I might be more pleasant if my commute gets better, maybe.

May-ish? I'm unclear as to how this whole things work.....but there's some leeway as to when H has to report to his cutter, based on their underway schedule. I've already told him that if I can't find a job, I'll probably stay here for the first underway. Ehh so many things to figure out. Freaky!!!

Hopefully soon! I hate getting stuck in traffic for hours. It can be quite backed up here. Our new place takes 25-30mins to base with no traffic but H has even been late before and he leaves at least 2 hours before his time at work! I like VA so far, it will just take some time getting used to but I love where we live which is a good thing. Although we did find out that H will be gone most of next year and I'll be out here alone so I'm hoping to find new friends soon!

So my sister told her daughters today that I would be coming down next week. The youngest (and this is her, I had to put a pic because she is too cute and yes that is the tiara from my bachelorette). So the youngest goes "YAY! is AJ coming too?.. I swear my nieces and nephew say hi to me and automatically ask for him, all the time. This little one though loves him because he has blue eyes like her.

Hike: I had a rough day today...but I'm letting myself cool down from everything and concentrate on the positive. I can't believe it's already almost Friday....EEK. I really don't like the traffic to and from Austin. I try and avoid driving in it at all costs. It's really horrible, especially with all the construction going on on I-35.

Oh it's all good now. :) I think I may have found the perfect house to move into and am waiting on a reply from the owner to see how soon I can move in. I'm really excited about this place! :)

When I was a freshman at UW in Seattle I was in the dorms.. and realized immediately that I could never had roommates. I like things too clean, I work too late, and I don't have the time to force myself into friendships. I like my SPACE!!! I hope it all clears up and gets taken care of asap for you so you can be done with all the drama

I'm siiiiccckkkkk =( I have lost my voice and I feel overall achey and throat hurty....

I also have to study for my capstone text on Monday... and tons of other stuff. But all i want to do is dedicate 100% of my time outside of work to finding a job in JAX....which isn't going so hot. It makes me feel SOOO fantastic (sarcastic) when people with worse grades and less intern experience turn around and get several job offers around here...and I can't even get a freakin' interview. I feel so bad but FI thinks I'm taking it out all on him because I am so distraught on finding a job near him, and the fact that JAX's economy sucks for corp. technology jobs. I'm just so frustrated because I could have a job by now if I was looking around here.

Sorry to post and leave, but I have to go study.

I'm having wine tomorrow. A friend is coming over whose H is also with mine, and we both want to save money, so I'm taking out the sauce I froze from last week and making spaghetti. I am so ready for this week to be over and next Tuesday to get here.

First- he does play with them pretty non stop. They also don't see him as much but they hear about him so they have learned to ask. They are too cute. I can't wait to go down there. I just wish I could see my babies back home in Buffalo

It totally melts my soul to see a man play with kids.. I love seeing H play with his niece and nephew.. He's going to be such a great, patient dad.

Also, I love your definitive statement "I'm going to have wine tomorrow."

haha mmmm.. spaghetti and wine is the best for a weekend night!! yummy carbs and boozin it up! I hope you have a blast.. definitely play some beer pong in the kitchen

I may not be organized in other areas of my life, but my wine drinking, perfectly organized.

Also, I bought melatonin today because I am sick of sleeping like crap, especially when H is gone, I think it's starting to kick in. It's awesome.

Oh wow.. I didn't even think of melatonin.. I'm thinking I need to start doing that.. it's getting doom and gloom out here and the stresses of classes are keeping me up at night. H has been having to get up at 2am all week.. so I get up with him.. but we struggle to fall asleep early enough to get the full amount of sleep, ya know? Keep me updated on how it's working? :]

I love that! I think that's a smart way to always have a light at the end of the tunnel. You may be having a crappy week, but knowing you have a specific postive (like wine night) coming up would totally help keep ya chuggin along. I love it!

I have horrible driving anxiety, and if it's raining or windy out at night, it keeps me up because I'm freaking out, knowing I have to drive in that in the morning

I wonder if it would help me zonk out faster..

H and I just got into a huge fight about... Christmas Cards. All because I put my cat on there. So then it launched back into the following argument:

H: You're not bringing that cat into my house cause I'm allergic
S: Take a zyrtec like the rest of the world and get the eff over it. Sun allergy trumps cat allergy any day
H: I'm serious, if you'd rather be with your cat than your H, fine. We'll just visit.
S: At least my cat knows when to STFU

and then because I'm such an adult, I sent him a Christmas Card that pretty much just said "Merry Fu*king Christmas. Mr. & Mrs. Sami" and said "Proof this, Ass." (side note: when I asked him at least 8 times to please send me pictures so that I could put together Christmas cards, he sends me 3 pictures.. one of him making a goofy face, one of him doing the Marine scowl, and one of him and some Officer in his command... Um.. Thanks.) So I put the picture of him and the Officer in it. H called me laughing, so obviously he's over it, but I however am still pretty pissed. I hate going to be mad, but I've been up since 3, so I'll be headed that way soon.

FTR: I don't give two shiits about sending out Christmas Cards now, especially since most of them were supposed to go to his family.
