Dan DeBruin is AMAZING. He was the DJ at my friend's wedding so I got to see him in action, so I didn't hesitate to book him for my wedding

Brian from the Music Man DJ's is beyond awesome. I booked him after an '07 knottie raved about him for our '08 wedding and he far exceeded our expectations!

I used Jeff Rockwell, and LOVED HIM!!! He put me at ease when I needed it the most.

I've also been to weddings that used Fred Pappalardo and his associates. They were good too.

Ryan Parker of Parker Events is fabulous. He did our wedding and did the live jazz for the cocktail hour (pianist and saxophone). Not cheap, though. HIghly recommend. Great guy as well.

We are meeting with Tom Morissette of Double Platinum Celebrations today. Another knottie is using him at her upcoming wedding, so we'll see what we think, but so far it has been a good interaction.

*jaimebeth9*: What was Brian's last name from Music Man? I heard there were a couple and we met with one of them, and I'm not sure what I think at this point (found a review online that wasn't so great).

We're using Tom Morissette! Really nice, really professional and organized. He's been very helpful so far and I can tell he really wants to make sure our day is perfect for us. We heard he was one of the best DJs who has performed at our venue. How did your meeting go with him, ksalvo? I just talked to him today, as we're getting very close to the day (3 months), and he was super helpful!

We met with a Brian from Music Man and were not impressed, so I think there are two...

I'm going with Andrew Woolford. He is a young guy, but pretty experienced and CHEAP. He charges about $100/hour. He is worth a call!

Also, I just booked my ceremony musicians and they also do cocktail hours, they have live band, and they dj. Look for Tori Lee Jackson or Michael French. They are very reasonable, and if I had thought ahead, I would have booked them for the whole wedding and reception.
