  I think Syd Silver is going out of business everywhere, so it's definitely a good suggestion for anyone who needs a tux right now; any tuxes that they're "renting" are actually being sold, so you get to keep them.
  
  That being said, I visited one in Scarborough last weekend and the service was HORRIBLE. The guy was totally crusty, taking people in random order, and yelling at other customers that "patience is a virtue". But for a good deal, why not.

  I think the most basic packages were $100, which didn't include shoes or vests. They had packages for $120+ which included shoes. Vests are maybe $15 on top of that.

  We are using freeman formalware - they had catalogues at Tip Top Taylor (same stuff online) but you needed to go to the store at Victoria Park & Eglinton (I believe) to try stuff on - we live downtown so this was a great choice for us.
