Awesome! I've got a batch of chocolate chip dough mixing, and a batch of homemade doughnuts rising. I swear, if the ice doesn't clear off the roads soon, I'm going to end up 200+ pounds.

Never made challah, but I make my doughnuts out of a brioche type dough that I've adapted slightly. Fantastic stuff.

I've never made challah either. Ive made plain white bread and pizza dough. Oh, and homemade biscuits for monkey bread.

i made a "healthy" version of pb chip cookies last week and they were AWFUL.
i'm guessing this version didn't skimp on butter & flour?

Not hardly. Start with your basic Toll House cookie recipe, but use all brown sugar, decrease the flour by 1/4 cup and add 1/2 cup cocoa powder.

yum! i added cocoa to my second batch and they were much better. i've never thought to use only brown sugar.
