Dentist Follow Up

So... I don't have a cavity - yay! But, I guess my wisdom teeth are messing up my other teeth so I'm going to have to get all 4 pulled - boo!! And I'm currently having a bad dose of gingivitis which is what is causing a lot of pain, too.  So they gave me some Motrin 800 for the pain which has helped.

But before I left the office, I had a panic attack.  I've never had one before and I just could not catch my breath.  I was seeing spots and I almost passed out.  Thank goodness DH was there to help me calm down or I'm not sure what would have happened.  That was pretty scary.

But now I have to make an appointment to see an oral surgeon to get these bad boys removed.  SO not looking for to it but atleast I get popsicles and ice cream, right?

Oh, bummer :(  Sorry to hear that!  I still have my wisdom teeth and the thought of having to get them pulled really freaks me out.

Panic attacks are scary.  I'm glad your DH was there too.

Aww, Jenn, I'm sorry that happened. I have them (not as much now, but a lot in the past) and they are scary. The dentist is a panic-inducing place in my book. ((hug))

Definitely look forward to popsicles and TLC from DH.

Aw, I'm sorry to hear it's your wisdom teeth, but you will feel SO much better once they are removed. At least you have not broken your cavity-free streak!

Sorry to hear your have to have the wisdom teeth out and had a panic attack--scary!  But knowing you have a few days of a popsicle, pudding and milkshake buffet is a good way to see the bright side.

good luck and hopefully the motrin does its thing.

I'm glad you are still cavity-free, but that sucks about the panic attack and the wisdom teeth.  :(

Hope that it is a painless procedure for you.  I had mine out on a Saturday and went back to college on Sunday...had very little pain.

Would you feel better if I punched that dentist right in the throat?

(Elisha started me on this punch in the throat thing and now I can't stop!)

Glad it didn't turn out to be a root canal! Like KR, I had a pretty painless wisdom-teeth-removing process...hope yours goes smoothly!

Glad you don't have any cavities.  Like the other's, I had all 4 removed (impacted) and it was pretty painless as well.  Much easier than a filling IMO.

And I'm sorry about the panic attach.  I get them in crowds and they are the scariest things ever because you can't control them.  Hopefully you don't have anymore.
