AW - If you're insanely bored, help me decide which clothes to keep (Heavy PIP)

I'm cleaning out my closet and trying to give things to Goodwill... there are a lot of things I knew I wanted to keep and other things I knew I'd never wear again, ever, so that stuff was easy. There are a few things I'm kind of meh about, so I thought I'd ask for opinions, if anyone is bored enough to care to give one. Usually I'd get rid of things that I'm "meh" about, but since neither my wardrobe nor my budget for new clothes is very large, I'll probably have to keep some of the stuff just so I have things to wear.

If you're not incredibly bored or don't give a rat's ass about my wardrobe, (for which I couldn't blame you, since I barely care to make my own decisions), you'll probably want to just move along.

Strong options are especially helpful, like ugly as sin, went out of style in 1995, you look like a hooker, too juvenile (I'm 26) etc. Excuse the crappy iPhone pictures and the messy, unmade bed behind me. TIA. Oh, and I'm pretty much just referring to the shirts, since I'm wearing the same pair of shorts with everything. I have a bunch of bikinis I can't decide on too, but I'll let FI help me with those :)

• I really like: 2, 4, 5, 7, 10, 11, 12, 15 :)
• I couldn't really tell all that well from the pictures but based on what I see, I would get rid of #5 & #6. I think 26 is a little too old for #5 and #6 appears to be really tight and quite sheer.

my read shelf:
Elizabeth's book recommendations, liked quotes, book clubs, book trivia, book lists (read shelf)
• I would get rid of 1, 7, 8 and 16. I'm on the fence about 9

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests. Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
• I actually like most of them but 5 is kind of eh. Kind of young and too sparkly, kwim? Unless you're wearing it to a club or something.
• 6,8,9,12,15. You could do without. :. But you've go a bangin little body non creepy swear so you could get away with them anyhow.

I think I want your closet lol

#2 makes you look a little too top heavy with all the sparklies on your bust - but that could just be the picture
#6 is a little strange with the ruffle along the bottom.
#9 I like the one shoulder look on you, but I don't like the big bow
#16 does look a little 90's, but that's probably because you aren't wearing a shirt on underneath it.

• 1. I think this one is okay.

2. I like this one! It looks a bit low cut but there isn't a ton of cleavage showing or anything so it doesn't look slutty.

3. I don't like this one at all. It is hard to tell from the picture but the material looks weird and it isn't particularly flattering.

4. This shirt isn't my style but it could be a nice option for a conservative situation.

5. I don't love this one but I don't hate it either.

6. This would be such a cute shirt if it was shorter and not so see through.

7. I like this shirt! Its a nice option for a comfy summer shirt that is still a little bit dressy.

8. I don't like this one at all. I think the pattern/coloring looks cheap.

9. This is a cute going out shirt! I really like the bow.

10. I don't dislike this shirt but it is a bit boring. Maybe a good work shirt if you work somewhere that allows business casual attire.

11. The cut of this shirt makes your waist look wider than it is. It seems a bit dowdy imo.

12. It is hard to see in this picture, but I think this is just plain black? A nice casual basic to have. You can always switch it up with accessories or something.

13. I like this shirt but the material looks a bit cheap. I think it would still work for going out or the beach though.

14. This one is not my style. I always think butterflies are best on pre teens, but thats just my opinion.

15. I know this shirt is plain but the cut and color are flattering on you. I like this one.

16. The style of this hoodie is a bit young imo. I think it would work better though if it was unzipped and had a longer tank top under it.

Hope I helped and wasn't too harsh! You are inspiring me to clean out some of my "meh" clothes :)

• 1 is the only one I would definitely keep. The rest are alright. If you're meh about them are you really ever going to be not meh about them to wear them?

And ditto stacks. Nice bod. I wouldn't mind if mine looked more like yours. And your FI is adorable.

• I think number six would be really cute underneath something else, so that the lace at the bottom just poked out. I am meh about all the other ones, though. Number 8 needs to die in a fire.

I hate your body ;). Seriously, you look amazing.
• I'd get rid of 6, 7 and 8.
• I would get rid of:
3: the middle is weird how it gathers...and the pattern/color doesn't go well with you skin tone
5: it looks like the top of a prom dress
6: it is very sheer and the ruffle on the bottom looks like a kid top
7 & 8: look very young
9: I am on the fence...the shoulder bow looks really large in comparison to your small frame

• I like #1, 2, 10, 12 & 15.

I hate 5 & 8. Haaaaaaate. 3 & 7 should go too.

6 is a good layering piece. It'd be cute with something over it and the ruffles peeking out.

4 is maybe a little dowdy, hard to tell in the pic.

I'd keep 1, 5, 9, 13, 14, 15. You know better than any of us which of those are the "going out, clubbing type" tops, and whether you're likely to wear them. The two "dressier" tops are pretty, the others are nice, but more look like they fit you really well. Ooh, and I love the first one.
So, maybe things don't always go as planned... Maybe that's okay. I may be alone for now, but my baby boy is on his way, and I wouldn't change a thing.
• If you are already meh about them, the ones that I wasn't fond of or thought could be too young, etc were: 1,2,4,5,6,8,9,12,15. You are too cute though.

Thanks so much for the opinions (and compliments) ladies! I think I'm going to keep 4, 6 (for layering), 7, 9 (the bow is removable), 10, 14, 15 and 16 for now.. I could see myself wearing them if everything else was dirty. Plus, parting with 8 out of 16 things is pretty good for me, I have so much trouble getting rid of things.

And yes, Eagles, 7 is from Express. I also have it in pink and red, but I figured I didn't need to post them all :)

And Nates, fires scare me, so 8 will just have to go Goodwill with the others. I'm sure some 15 year old will be very happy with it, since that's probably how old I was when I bought it.

[QUOTE]I have it in grey. Love that shirt. I just love Express.

Ditto. I used to get really good coupons in the mail all the time, but lately, I haven't gotten any, which is a bummer. I don't like paying full price.

ETA - I just bought this dress in the beige, but I think my boobs might be too big for it, so I need to go try on a size up. I'll be bummed if that doesn't fit either, I really like the dress.
