Wedding favours?

Ok what is everyones take on these?  We are having a baseball themed wedding (and yes it was my idea too) and we arethinking of giving signed basballs as a favour, along with some baseball type stuff in a bag.  But now looking at it, it seems more like a little kids birthday party gift bag. 
Anyone have any ideas?

    Perhaps some cookies decorated like baseballs or like your favourite team?

    Is it just baseball or Phillies?

    We are doing lottery scratch off tickets.
    I have seen personalized rally towels - that can be cute.
    I like the baseball cookie idea too.

    You don't HAVE to have favors.  I do like the candy idea, generally I lean towards food.  I don't want anything with your name on it, I'll leave it at the reception.

    Guests will enjoy edible items more than anything else. My cousin just went through her closets and such the other day and throw out a ton of candles/weird frames/boxes, etc. with peoples names on them- so eventually they'll just get thrown out.

    I like the cookie idea!  or how about bags of peanuts? cracker jacks?

    people with allergies.  Some people are *highly* allergic to peanuts, so much so that being close to them can be dangerous.  Even peanut to skin contact or inhaling peanut "dust" .  Unless you know your crowd (and everyones dates) I would be careful with common allergens.  This could be as simple as labeling your favor, but with peanuts it may not be so simple.

    How about Phillies beer cozies and a donation to the Tug McGraw Foundation.  Or, if you don't like the Phillies....something similar.

    I would hope the people who are aware of their peanut allergies wouldn't go near them.
