I am! My BM is also using him for her wedding in August, and he did the flowers for both of our bridal showers.

Yup! You're the one who said that when you went to see your mock ups he wasn't prepared for you coming, right?

We're going tomorrow and I called him two weeks ago to confirm and he sounded like he remembered, but I'm still nervous so I'm going to call him again this afternoon. But, just in case something similar to your situation happens, what did he do? Was he able to throw something together really fast for you?

Haha yeah he was a little frazeled the one time we came, but in his defense we had made the appointment months in advance and I hadn't given him a reminder (bc I kinda wanted to test him, lol). He just had us wait a couple minutes and went in the back and put together our centerpiece sample- and we were more than thrilled with it so it all worked out. This was all back in January so he was also coming off of the Christmas/New Year's craze.

On the other hand more recently, when I went to pick up the flowers for my BM's shower he was totally overprepared and seemed super on top of things and very relaxed. He even gave us extra flowers and packaged everything really nicely.

We're going to go in and meet with him in September (about a month out from our wedding) just to confirm all the little last mintue details. It also made me feel good that the 2nd time we were there he had my whole order form handy and referenced it so I knew he knew who I was.

I think regardless since you called to confirm you'll be fine. You have to let us know how it goes and post pictures!

Also, at what point did you give him your deposit and how much did you give? He basically told us during our first appointment, "Give me whatever you want whenever you want." Haha... We were like ummmmmmmmmm, but HOW MUCH???

I was thinking 50% at our meeting tomorrow?

We gave him $500 which is about 35% of our budget and we gave that at the centerpiece trial by credit card. He was really relaxed about it.

I only gave him a deposit of $50, but my total will be about 850 for everything....he is great and will totally work within a budget

Thanks ladies! He and my aunt had a weird connection when we went there the first time, so I'm sure he's going to go above and beyond for us... I just get nervous because FI is one of those people who HATES when people he's doing business with are late or unprepared, so I wanted to cover all my bases, haha.
