Shoes?

I seem to be having a difficult time trying to find a pair of black shoes (I know this seems crazy haha).  My 13 year old sister is a junior bridesmaid and she cant really wear "heels" but she doesnt want flat either. I am at a loss.  I have tried payless, sears, DSW, macys etc;  Everything we see is either way too high for her to walk in or they are flats...any other suggestions?  It doesnt matter to me where in the state it is located, I am willing to drive...  Also, she kinda has big feet (size 7 in womens) so this seems to be making this much more difficult

Re: Shoes?

  • Why don't you try David's Bridal. They might have something you are looking for. Or you can have a pair of white shoes that much the heel requirement dyed black.

You can also try online places like amazon that have good shipping/return policies.

  • What size is she?  I have a pair of size 4 flower girl type shoe from davids bridal that I was going to wear myself for my wedding and then decided I wanted something more grownup.  I wore them once for dance class.  They are white dyeables and Davids Bridal will dye them for about $5. I will sell them for $20 if you are interested.

  • Thank you ladies for the ideas. Never thought of Davids bridal or amazon
  • I'd try Endless.com.  I think you can even specify heel height there and their return policy is great.

Has she tried heels at all?  I had a pair of short heels when I was a junior BM in my cousin's wedding when i was 14.  They were about 1.25" high.

</div><div>I will look into that website thank you. Yeah, we had her try on about 2" heels and she was having a hard time walking in them (but they were pretty thin heels)  She's very much a tom boy and has never worn a pair of heels before, always sneakers or flip flops with her lol

  • I still remember practicing in mine for MONTHS before that wedding!  I'd come home from school and I'd walk upstairs in my room so I wouldn't fall on my face.   :-)
  • I would definitely try endless.com, zappos, heels.com or 6pm.com.  I was looking for a small heel for myself and found the pair I was looking for a heels.com.  All of those sites have really good return policies, so it's worth looking at. Also, maybe you can find a dressy pair of wedges - those might be easier for her to walk in.

  • I would check out Zappos and Nordstrom. Both places have free shipping and free returns.

There is a Nordstrom in the Westfarms Mall in Farmington with a Nordstrom Rack right down the road!

  • Thanks again, I will look at all those options.   :)
